I don't mean to bash. In fact I like Sarah G. in favor of other budding singers today in terms of voice quality, showmanship, and vocal control especially originality and ownership. But this video is not about whistle notes. She uses super head tones here which I think are suitable for her voice. Pushing it to hard might hurt her. There are clips that show whistles but not the entire video. When she shifted from a birit artist to the performer she is right now, I think she made the right decision by just being true to herself and her craft.

Sarah Geronimo can't do whistle notes intentionally and this video is not showcasing any whistles notes from her. But the part from GGV are real whistle notes (5:43) but unintentionally and also inhaled. She may do whistle notes if she practice (since may lumabas at indication na meron din sya) but because MC is not her Idol (it's MJ). Morisette will be the MC of the Philippines because of her Whistle tones. Peace!

In whistle, the sound is very thin and airy because the vocal folds are closed. In most of Sarah G's showcase here, those are high flageolet/head tones wherein you can hear more rounded sound and sound's strong than airy.
That's the kind of voice of Sarah. She have the same voice quality with Mori but Mori has a stronger whistle register. Sarah has strong flageolets on the other hand...their head voice is stronger than their chest voice. 🤭
