    It’s amazing that you are running. I will be laid out flat just trying to walk.

      By the end of radiation I wasn’t running 😅 I was stubborn and kept at it for as long as I possibly could.

    I just had my resection done last Friday. Stage 2. Age 50 perfectly healthy. Such a hard adjustment.
    Waiting to hear from an oncologist tomorrow hopefully to get the final stage of treatment started. I have 3 teenage daughters. No way in hell cancer will stop me.

      I hope you're healing well from your surgery and that everything will be all clear for you when treatment ends. 🤞🏼💙

    Hi Jelena, did you ever use a topical cream or ointment for rectal pain? If so which one worked best for you?

    Did you ever get a Ct scan? I’m having same symptoms. Weight loss, bloody mucus discharge. Stomach aches. I’m 33. All blood work and Ct scan were normal. Colonoscopy on the 14fh. I’m freaking out

      Yes, I did have a CT scan before I started treatment and they saw cancer in it. The doctor can take samples from your colon and run tests to see if you have a digestive disorder that isn’t cancer but is causing your symptoms. Hope it isn’t anything too serious 🤞🏼

      @@SurvivorJelena can i do mri instead of colonoscopy? Will it work?

    • @SurvivorJelena
      @SurvivorJelena  Рік тому +1

      An MRI could see tumors if they’re large enough, but a colonoscopy can see them better, especially if they’re small. Also if they’re small the doctor can remove small polyps while they’re doing your colonoscopy and prevent them from becoming cancer.

      I’m so happy to hear you got the courage to finally not cancel your appointment and to get in for your colonoscopy! 🥳
