How did you select your roof and duplicate it? whenever i use the multi select tool it say's i can't duplicate mutliple buildings at once

How do you make it so you can place things overlapping with each other and with the track/station itself? (like the floor you start out with.) It won't let me place anything that doesn't line up perfectly.
I think he made the grid size smaller if I understand what you're asking. Default is 4. It can be set all the way down to 1.
OneSickMag i think you’re talking about collision. in settings, go to game then tick allow scenery, coaster and ride collision. that should help :)
How did you rotate the pieces during building? Whenever I press z it doesn't rotate
I think you have to hit "remove from building" then rotate. Planet coaster is weird with that sometimes

when editing the coaster select the section over the station and there is a settings tab with a drop down menu where you can change it.
How are you able to place a plank and adjust the XYZ then get another copy of it without duplicating it? Is there a shortcut?

Thanks for the tutorial video. But unfortunately, I'm still struggling. When watching the video, everything seems so easy, but when you try to built something similar in Planet Coaster, it's not that easy at all. Parks have different terrains and I just tried to built the roof, but everything was crooked... :(
Copying and etc. isn't always that easy...

Depth, detail, making plain parts look less plain

I'd say take a look at recommended system requirements. Not minimum, recommended.
Low graphics no matter what unless ur pc is top of the line. You’ll stutter a lot at higher graphics. So any pc I guess. Sry for the late comment
I want a "how to make a coaster with inversions without a high nausea/fear rating", cuz it's almost impossible to make such a coaster :(
the fear is probably from lateral G's, I'm not sure where the nausea is from, maybe the same thing?
if you visualize the G-forces you can see purple where your guests are getting their necks snapped, then you can either increase the bank if it's a turn or smooth the banking if it's a too-fast transition between banks

Hi, I know this is old. But I just started playing. I can't seem to figure out how to rotate the wall while on the grid. Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.
I believe you hit Z to rotate, and if you hold Z down you can freely rotate it. The game should pop up with a tutorial message that tells you the controls
if the wall piece is a grid piece you can only rotate it 90 degrees using the z key to rotate however you can rotate it to whatever angle if you are not editing the building but it will rotate the entire building. Hope this helps!

you can either click and drag over or hold shift while selecting to select multiple items. you have to be editing the building though if you are not already.

There is an option in the station that says build to station

Hold shift and click what you want to copy. once selected press ctrl+d to duplicate. If it is not a grid piece I will use ctrl+x which duplicates and automatically puts you in the advanced move tool which helps keeping things symmetrical. Hope this helped!
How did you rotate the wall piece? You didn't explain that and I can't rotate it to go along the station. It goes perpendicular to. You're doing all these movements and controls and I don't have a clue. So the rest of what you're doing doesn't matter until I can move the pieces like I want. For instance, I cant put a roof on top of pillars.
This video is no help if you don't explain how to rotate wall pieces.

There is an option that allows you to build perfectly on the station. When you hover over it, it should say “build on station” or something similar.

I'm new to the game after getting it on xbox. Is there a benefit to buiding a station or is it just for cosmetic reasons?
It can increase your queue scenery rating and the coasters track scenery rating which will actually make it more popular with your guests. so yes there is benefit in building a station.

you use this as a guideline. You can use different pieces and such to make it your own and get better better as you build more stations :)
