He shines in so many different genres - rock, metal, ballad, musical theatre, etc. He is also a funny and thoughtful person. Dans rendition of this beautiful hymn has 14 million views and was on Amazons best selling list. Dan himself has over 1 million subs. In my opinion, Dan is the best singer on UA-cam. He sings everything from metal to opera and even Disney with absolute perfection. It's hard to go wrong with anything from Dan's catalogue. His collaborations are also stellar, like Kiss From a Rose with Violet Orlandi, Breaking the Silence with Erik Gronwall (both on Dan's channel), and Thunderstruck which is on the channel of the band Orian's Reign where Dan was the session vocalist for them.
Great reaction! Try Nessus Dorma for classical opera. Gethsemane and Music of the Night for stage musical. Dawn over a new World for pure beautiful vocals. Bring me to Life for awesome voice acrobatics. It’ s all great, just depends on what you want to listen to at the time.
Dan Vasc is the most versatile performer that I've ever seen! He absolutely lives the part of whatever genre he's singing from. His 80's playlist is great and he even has a coupla 70's hits. What a wonderful performance of this classic hymn that he enhanced with his powerful metal range. I discovered this artist with this song and haven't stopped listening to him yet, and that was 18 months ago. Dan can sing any genre of music and does, all exceptionally well. He sings 80's rock like 18 and Life, Kickstart My Heart,, Bon Jovi, Journey, etc. There are incredible Nightwish covers such as Last Ride of the Day, and Nemo. He sings movie classics like I'll Make a Man Out of You from Disney's Mulan, My Heart Will Go On from Titanic, and Seal's Kiss from a Rose. He sings song from TV and Video games like the Witcher series - Toss a Coin to Your Witcher, Burn Butcher Burn, Song of the White Wolf and Priscilla's song, and My Mother Told Me from the Vikings TV show. He also covers class metal bands such as Iron Maiden's The Number of the Beast, Sabaton's The Last Stand, etc. I could go on and on because there are over 200 songs on his channel and not a bad one in the lot. I forgot to add they he sings opera also, Nessun Dorma, theatrical songs from Phantom of the Opera, and Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Super Star. They are all stage worthy performances.

Thank you! I have subscribed and look forward to more Dan Vasc. I was never into metal or opera, but Dan can bring me to tears singing both. And his 80's covers are excellent. I will listen to anything he sings, even if I don't like the song. Everyone gave you a great head start on recommendations.
He is the greatest singer/artist on UA-cam and the world as we know it and he has no equal. May I suggest I'll Make a Man Out of You from Mulan, Blind and Frozen and Burn Butcher Burn. There are no bad songs, only the best you've ever heard.

If you’re a Witcher fan, all Dan’s metalized versions of Witcher songs are great, especially Burn Butcher Burn. My favorite of his Christmas songs is Angels Wr Have Heard on High, sung in 5 languages and a chorus of Dans. He doesn’t metalize everything, by the way, and if he does he always says so up front. With his classical and contemporary musical trading Dan can sing ballads, show tunes, folk songs, classical, Disney (both straight and metal), and lots of hard rock. For his own Met as l upgrades of popular songs, check out Adele’s Rolling in the Deep, and his duet with Violet Orlandi on A Kiss from a Rose. Looking forward to more Dan! Holy Night is beyond awesome, and full of surprises. He hit a G5 note in Gethsemane, so that would be a good one to watch. In Black Wind, Fire, and Steel, he holds the longest note you have prob ever heard. He has a super high note in I'll Make a Man out of You, Mulan cover, too. For deep tones, check his Fairy Tale - large mixture of singing styles in that one. His cover of Lady Gaga's Poker Face also has low notes. Welcome to the rabbit hole of Dan Vasc. He has so many amazing covers, but my suggestions to start would be I'll Make a Man Out of You, probably his highest note in this song, Black Wind Fire and Steel, where you can see his metal side and there is a surprise at the end, and Bring Me to Life, where he shows pretty much all the tools in his toolbox. :)

Daniel Vasconcelos is a classically trained vocalist from Brazil, and Dan's not a little bit different... he's a whole lot of different. There's not much the man can't sing & even make it a better version. His Amazing Grace introduced me & many others to him & is still my favorite version of that hymn. You need to hear Dan's Hallelujah Chorus (One Man Choir). Phenomenal, mind-blowing version. Dan is literally the entire choir. His Christmas songs are epic: Angels We Have Heard on High (multiple languages), Adeste Fideles Plus (O Come All Ye Faithful in Latin) is worth it just for that finale alone, & O Holy Night (will melt your face, but isn't irreverent at the same time). Plus,
everything Elaine Cherry mentioned. Lol. His Phantom of the Opera covers are awesome, too. That's not even going into Dan's Iron Maiden, Helloween, Dragonforce, Sabaton, and other amazing covers. He also has his own band called Fearless, comprised of his younger brother (Davi Vasc) and his 2 friends from church (Gabriel Belozi and Giovanni Resendez). Yes, they're Christians. Chk out Fearless in "Tale With No End" or in their collaboration with Fabio Lione doing the Rhapsody song "Dawn of Victory." It's absolutely glorious.
