The people invented a universal amulet against everything that was considered subject to the evil eye. It is made from a thick branch of brittle buckthorn and wild apple twigs. At the end of a long branch of sarsaparilla (popularly apyrchpan, apyrchman)
the ring is closed between the branches of the apple tree. Such a hearth amulets were hung on the collar
as a guard against the evil eye. The skulls of large domestic animals are also used as a talisman. More often it is the skull of a horse, as well as other cattle.
