I’ll Never Fall in Love Again - Gina Libunao Rondez - Cover

Hello! Here is my take on I'll Never Fall in Love Again for Song # 14 with Gina Libunao-Rondez #GinaAngeles on vocals.
At an early age of 5, Gina has entertained her family and friends with her gift of music. She grew up enjoying her parent’s music. She started singing professionally at the age of 12. Her dad’s love for music influenced Gina’s repertoire until she became involved with show bands. Before migrating to the US in 1983, she became a recording artist under the Octo Arts international label in the Philippines.
In 1987, Gina joined NightShift, a prominent band in the Bay Area from late 80s to mid-90s. After her stint ending with NightShift, she joined another band, Culture Shock. This was I think in late 1995 or 1996 where I was the keyboardist and we performed for private parties and events. I was so happy to meet Gina and work together in band gigs, as well as we got along, being buddies. A few months later, Gina and I did piano-singer gigs and called ourselves "DOS". I enjoyed piano-singer gigs because it's easier! We're "kamado" and we have a lot of songs in common that we both enjoy doing! We performed for corporate parties, private functions, and weddings / receptions. My personal favorite gigs are Iglesia ni Kristo receptions. Before I moved to Las Vegas, Gina and I also made a Music Collection but this was just plain piano/string and vocals of our favorite songs, and I'll Never Fall in Love Again.
In each era of my life I have a close friend. Gina is one of my few friends that I met here in the States. What I admire about our friendship is we respect our boundaries. I can still recall all of my phone conversations with Gina and she'd ask me where I was. LOL! Gina was there when I had Andre, and she is Andre's primary ninang. She's Mama 2! Gina and I are inseparable even if I'm in LA or Vegas. She's my tamed "twin". I am the adventurous one, sharing the same birthday (but different year). We are Jack!!!
