It works great for me, the only issue I’ve come across that I wish I mentioned is cheap zip ties breaking when you pull them out because there’s a lot of friction, use hood zip ties and I hope this helps!
This works like a charm. I’ll typically do rubbing alcohol on the throttle tube side because the zip ties won’t fit and the tube can be set aside to evaporate. Zip ties are a much on the left side tho.
You can always try it with new bars or completely de grease the current bars you have, glue can be best to make sure you never have a “throttle with both hands” haha
The trick is to never use glue. The old residue will require glue forever afterwards. The other thing, no matter how you’ve mounted the grips, always use safety wire.
I maintain a fleet of 50 motorcycles... if this works you have literally saved years worth of my life! What a great trick!

Hair spray will lube it for a while and then vaporate and stick👍
That works great too! Great advise
I just put grips on yesterday. But I need glue. It's a race bike and I race in the rain.

Soapy water ✔️
I’ve had trouble with the soap making the grip loose like a throttle on both sides before, that probably works great sometimes though!
