Amazing sermon!! Boy I really needed this back in 1992 when I started going to church but spent the next 20+ years confused. Well, somebody out there won’t have to go through that because of clear messages like this and I rejoice in that!!

Got a chance to tell 2 young kids about Christ this week. One was 7 and mentally slow. He didnt know who Jesus was. I Told him who Jesus was and what he did for us and why. I ask him if he believed that. He said yes. I explained a little about prayer and how we can take all of our worries to him and he hears us. It was awesome. The other young boy, a 10 year old said he believed to. He said, I'm not feeling anything though. Told him he doesn't have to feel something to believe. He was relieved.
That's my good news for the week and it's only Thursday. Haha

That’s what I try to get across to people in these comments and the people I talk to in real life. Full knowledge of God’s will is in full knowledge of His Word. I pray people would read and study the King James Bible. I have friends who are pastors that do not understand this. The “churches” are a huge mission field.

Great videos! Great channel - keep it up 👍. On a different video i received a comment on a question to do a video about the topic signs and wonders etc. These videos from for example last reformation (Torben) or similar are quite confusing. I mean - what can we believe? I believe in the simplicity of the gospel, but not want to miss out or leave stuff out if they're actually for this time still...

Hey brother trent ❤️🙏 I hope all is well .
    I really like this message.
I was listening to when pastor jesse was saying about the ( addiction program)
    that is twelve steps .
Can you please tell me if that program or programs like it
specifically regarding the "leads" or those who are in charge with managing the group
Do they supposed to be trained by a pastor or Co pastor figure so that they can help others with pointing them back to Scripture for Guidance to an individual that is struggling with anything?
Or can they give man's wisdom or and advice from their own experience on how they " overcome" their struggles without using the Word of GOD?
I feel so put down when I say to other we should be using The Bible always for guidance but instead may get told that I don't have to " screenshot Scripture" or " prove anything to GOD or anyone else"
not trying to prove that what I am but I am trying to prove what is GOD saying to us by using Scripture and how it is light that leads us out of darkness .
That His Word is Truth and that we can all walk in The Truth .
I guess what is my issue is that I was almost caught up in a lot of heretical teaching and false doctrines before that I don't want to go back or want others to go through what I've been through.
The Bible is very important when seeking Truth.
I guess this has been on my mind and
Sometimes I do become discouraged because me wanting to always know The Truth of GOD.
Because error had led me in some dark, scary, and confused places .
I know I have a sin nature and I don't always do the right thing but I do want to try to the things of GOD .
Because everytime I do it my way I always fail and get my self in big trouble that hurts my mind worse .
I don't want to keep doing that
I wish they had more Strict Bible believing Grace teaching Churches around me to Discipleship in .
I know I am supposed to guard my heart and my mind from the errors of certain preachings and not jeopardize my beliefs of Truth .
My heart breaks not just for me but others who are struggling like me and what I've been through. I don't want them to feel alone . That's why like pastor jesse said we should look in The Bible for ourselves and meditate on it daily and help others with it but also encourage them to read it also for themselves too

      Hey there!
      I see what you’re saying.
Sadly due to a hard time keeping staff, we had to postpone the program. It was new to the church as of last year. There wasn’t a leader fallout or anything, but it was simply hard to keep consistent volunteers.
Essentially the program always pointed to the scripture. The key verse is John 8:32. The principles found in 1 John 1 and other scriptures are also applied.
I feel you struggle and discouragement. You must always try to back everything with scripture.
My advice to you is that you be the best Berean you can be. They compared everything the teachers said to the scriptures. If the scriptures did not teach it, the Bereans did not believe it.
We are here to try to answer as many questions as you have. Sometimes there’s so many comments that I miss yours lol. Feel free to pummel us with emails. That keeps a record in our system to go back and answer them here and there.

@@BibleLine thanks brother trent ❤️🙏 I will keep going to the program but if they're in any way not giving the Word of GOD
Or if they tell me not to recite Scripture
      I will discontinue the program.

I believe that the Word of God is essential in helping others, but that shouldn't exclude the testimony of other people's experiences. I think that each person's unique experience is also beneficial in helping others. The Bible says that some of our trials and tribulations are for the purpose of being able to sympathize with others who experience the same things and to understand their needs when we try to help them. I suppose there is a danger in thinking that God will work in one person's struggle in the same way He worked in another, but if we focus on God doing His work His way instead of how we think He should work, or how He worked in another person, we can appreciate the testimony of the other person's experiences and look forward to having our own personal experience with God by how He works in our own life. I think, too, that sometimes we think God has a certain formula to follow for every struggle we go through and that if we try to do what another person did to get delivered from their struggle, we will experience the same thing they did. God is a personal God and wants your experience to be personal to you. Then, you will be able to share your personal experience with others and have the heartfelt desire to help them in their time of need. I think when our experiences are personal and not a planned out formula of how God will work, we will KNOW it was God and He will get the glory, and it won't be about what WE did or didn't do. In a way, I think it can be encouraging to not know when and how God works in our lives because it is much more meaningful when He brings about the deliverance, or whatever He is working to do. I have learned that God sometimes surprises us with His work in our life and it causes us to have a deeper knowledge of Him and His love for us. I also think that the harder the struggle, and even the length of the struggle, is God's unique and personal work in each person's life. Some people teach that how desperate or serious you are will determine the results or the speed of deliverance. I think of what David went through with King Saul and how long it took for him to be delivered from the huge struggle he went through when Saul wanted to kill him. (I think it was close to twelve years that he had to struggle against the enemy before he became king!)
I think I'm starting to ramble now. I will quit.

Yes, 'easy believism' is very simple. No need to obey Christ's commandments. But the problem is that this idea is alien to the bible and as per the bible, it is a road map to eternal punishment.

The Bible even tells us that the Gospel is easy to understand and to believe. Some people just choose not to believe it. I understand your way of thinking though. I used to live my life thinking that if something was easy I was doing it wrong. I believed everything had to be hard if it was true or right. I literally did everything the hard way! That is, until God delivered me from that mindset, and I was set free in a moment of acknowledging the truth of His burden being light and easy. God had been dealing with me for a week on that verse, and I couldn't shake that verse from my mind. I kept saying, "I get it, Lord." I wanted Him to move on to something else! 😂 Then, after about a week, He literally revealed the meaning to me and I was in complete awe that I didn't really understand it like I thought I did. I didn't even realize that my mentality was that everything had to be hard until that moment He revealed it to me. But then, I had to struggle for another week because the feeling of peace was so foreign to me that I kept looking for something hard to do! The thing is, I felt so much peace that I couldn't feel burdened no matter how much my old mindset kept trying to rise up. I still have times where I struggle with feeling like it is wrong to be at peace and not feel burdened and weighed down, and I have to remind myself of this beautiful revelation of peace that God had given me many years ago.
And, if you are thinking of the verse that the way is narrow and straight, that's because Jesus is the Only One who can fit on that path with you. You make it wider when you add other things to the path. He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! Total and complete dependence on Jesus, and having NO confidence in our own selves, is the way to peace and life. Yes, even that can be hard to live by, but it is the word of truth.

In all the testimony of the New Testament writers, everyone who was born again knew nothing except the Gospel of Jesus, the Son of God, dying for the forgiveness of sins, and rising from the dead. Even the first Gentile believers in Acts received the Holy Spirit BEFORE they were baptized! All they knew was the Gospel, and that eternal life was freely offered to them by believing the Gospel they heard!

@@graftme3168 If obeying Christ is "having confidence in ourselves", what is wrong with it? Christians should live with self confidence because Christ lives in them. But if you preach that obedience is not necessary, then you are going against Christ. Jesus is crystal clear on it ( John 15:6). So I urge you to listen to Jesus, and not to these misguiding pastors.

@@graftme3168 Yes, eternal life is a gift. Salvation is a process. Initial justification is possible only with God's grace. Works dont have any role in it. But once we are justified and saved, we need to REMAIN in christ. Obedience is necessary for it. James 2:24. Discipleship is necessary for the Salvation of a Christian.
