Appreciate the easy style of your explanation of the various features of V2. I have used the original version for many years and when I downloaded the new version yesterday I was uncertain if I wanted to get involved with it or not but you have sold me on the advantages of upgrading to V2. 73
Thanks for the great overview of v2. Long time user, short time on v2. Had no idea some of these features were in the program. Thank you for showing them off. Looking forward to more on LOG4OM V2. 73.
Excellent video. I have been using Log4OM since it first came out. Believe it or not, I learnded something from watching your video. Thanks and 73, Steve, W6SDM
Thanks for the video, and all you video's for that matter! I was looking to make a switch from HRD, and this seems to fit the bill. Looking forward to the next installment showing WSJT-x and Fldigi. Im having trouble with the QSO forwarding. To be honest I hope you don't buy a new rig any time soon! Getting my 7610 going with N1MM and others has been fairly painless after I found your channel, 73!
thanks for the video on the New Log4OM. I run the original but haven't got around to installing this one. busy summer. Glad you operated in the Black Hills. When I was a kid, we lived near Hill City and when I got on the air, I pile up would begin immediately. That was always fun. Where did you operate in the Black Hills?
WB0WQS we were operating just outside of Rapid at the Black Hills Radio Clubhouse. I’m planning a quick trip back to the BHs in a week or two. Hill City is a beautiful area and I love the 1880 Train, hi hi. Took me a while to get around to this one and I’m glad I did. I think this may be my go to logbook. Take care and stay healthy. Best 73!
Really nice job you do with your videos. I have a question about setup to just show me the just spots being posted by U.S. hams and better yet just those reporting spots from my W4 call area. Is that possible? This would help a lot in spotting DX opportinies to my area of the U.S. Many thanks and 73. Bob KW4CQ
Thank you so much and thanks for commenting here and that’s what I do. Just see spots from NA. You’ll see a checkbox for it in the filter tab. I’ll have to check and see about just the US. GL and best 73!
@@HamRadioAdventures Thanks. One of these days I need to sit down and read the manual. Yes, now I see how to use the filter and I will have a go at it. 73 Bob KW4CQ
Great logging program log4om v2 I use a FT991A for my rig and are having problems with setting it up for jtalert and getting it to automatically send my qso's to LOTW and EQSL like I did in the past with AC Log . My LOTW is up to date with a current certificate. I tried to send them an adif file to LOTW and still waiting to see it in LOTW. Any help would be great 73's AA4CP Chuck Port Salerno FL USA

I find Palette 6 looks best on the propagation map. I've often exceeded the range they show, but I still like the feature.
Craig Hamm Yes I really like the propagation tab. I’ll have to look at it some more. Take care, be safe and best 73!
