62 ton “light tank”, yet gaijin didn’t give it any armor, like wtf… For reference the T-80BVM weighs 46 tons ingame, the T-90M weighs 50 tons, the Leopard 2A6 weighs 60 tons, the 2A7V weighs 64 tons, and the M1A2 also weighs 62 tons. You’re telling me, that the Merkava Mk.4M in game only weighs ~3 tons more, yet the Namer that is missing a ~20 ton turret is somehow less armored… (Sidenote, the Merkava Mk.4 actually weighs 80 tons, it’s incorrect in-game) how the frick do you model the namer so poorly. Give it its real armor and bump it up to 11.0-11.3 where it belongs. (Copy paste of where o said this somewhere else, but ya know it’s relevant here so why not talk bout it using what I already said since it still stands ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
I agree with you on just about everything, however i must highlight the fact that this is not a light tank, but an IFV. A 62 ton IFV is crazy, sure, but it does fit the definition of one, regardless of the weight.
did you even check why that is ? , its armor is so Good , it literaly survived a house colapsing on it , were hit multiple times by RPGs and ATGMs, including suffering direct hits by 9M133 Kornet ATGMs its literaly as strong as a M1 Abrams without DU in terms of Armor or even more and that was without APS systems on it , that thing would be unkillable
Little tip for dealing with vehicles like the Namer and Vilkas. TOW 2B is very effective against hull down tactics also any high calibre airburst HE does the trick.
@@Gathwar_ Much stronger. It's 60 tons of just hull armor. Think about how the most durable Challenger IRL is about 75 tons spread across both a hull and turret. The Namer is not only made of SLERA, which is significantly better than Chobham, but it's also all compacted into the hull at every angle. Also, Israeli composite just gets the short end of the stick in-game. It's weaker than it should be by miles.
The first clip just shows how good spikes are even at that close range it cant fly straight into the guy its launches and right to the ground goda love spikes and ther poor tracking .
