My husband who wasn't a member at the time became a very faithful weekly watcher with my children and I. Fast forward to 2021 he was baptized, and this year 2023 we were married and sealed to our 3 beautiful boys in the Laie, HI temple. Memory flashback for me, flying on Lufthansa. I could hear the same German accent. The pilot announced he was going to be retiring. He had a very calm and reassuring voice. I immediately imagined flying with president Uchtdorf.😅 it was 30 years ago it could have been him!
