Daniel's voice is incredible and so unique. Love hearing and seeing him play music no matter what he's doing artistically. Also when he initially came out on the show stage and even during his interview I got Scott Weiland vibes.
Diorama sparked the change in his music style being more positive, then this album was completely different from anything he'd done before, and now FutureNever is where he's at.
Where'd you find this in such good quality? Any chance you downloaded it somewhere or could upload the original video file you have? I've always loved this performance.
I love Daniel John's I hope he is ok after getting caught drunk driving. So many amazing musicians die because there friends should maybe take notice and start looking after them or be a bigger part of there life.
Friends helping can only do so much. You can't put the blame on them, that's not cool. The addict has to want to get clean, has to want help. I'm not pinning all of Dan's psychological and dependency problems on him because I don't believe that's fair, it's no one's fault, but again, the addict has to want to recover. I will say drunk driving is never cool and he should know better by now. Beyond that, yeah, I really hope he's doing well and I hope this is the last time he has to deal with addiction.
