I’ve been getting back into the TCG recently with the release of PTCGL, and I’ve been loving seeing all the alt art cards from the past few sets. There are so many incredible artists who work on these cards.
The way I got so overly excited seeing that Pokémon card openings are coming back, is such a understatement! Dropped everything to come see the iconic duo (besides Scotty and Panda because they're also really iconic together) opening up cards again. (Maybe this'll subside my own Pokémon card addiction and keep it at bay :p)

My first year of uni, I'd put on panda's opening playlist while eating in the cafeteria, and that was my company. Sitting now my senior year, watching this at a study group is giving big feels, which is so funny considering how hard i laugh at Pandas reactions to the zonked-mons 😅
Nothing is more satisfying or cathartic than opening one box of Obsidian Flames, and pulling the Gold Dark-Tera Charizard card in the last pack… like I did recently.
You guys are one of two reasons my long dead childhood hobby gets revived. Just hearing you two enjoy the designs of the cards were quite the sight. Not to mention no stupid bets to destroy cards RNG style. BTW, honestly, Panda does sound like a true TCG player since he knew what he was talking about according to the one video where he pulled Boss’s Orders. To this day, the highest valuable card I’ve pulled was a full art Skyla from Shining Fates that’s going for $17.70. Not the card I would use in a battle, but she’s worth preserving in my binder. 👍 Also, on a side note, I’ve gotten that Gardevoir EX Tyler pulled. Not to mention I pulled another different Gardevoir EX from another pack, making it exactly from 2 packs I’ve just bought to combine the pack quantity with the Elite Trainer Box.
I used to play PTCG competitively but stopped years ago! I’m definitely out of touch with the current meta and rules but it’s still a game I love haha. Appreciate the kind words !
I'm glad pack openings are coming back. I watched yours for years and you got me back into collecting. Incase no one has spoken about them. The riolu and the toadscool cards are called illustration rares, they're about the same level as the trainer gallery cards.
More openings! Y'all gotta catch up with paldea Evolved and obsidian flames. Also, Pokemon 151 is coming out end of this month and you and Tyler would love that set because it's all gen 1 😄

Hey panda, random vid idea but hear me out. I am in a trade school for criminal justice yadayada pretty much I got pepper sprayed and the scovile level was 5.3 mil from fox pepper spray. But the idea is pack battle and loser gets pepper sprayed. (Warning tho do your research before hand bc it does feel like very very very spicy water and if not knowledgeable can cause serious damage.) don’t wanna cause pain but thought after the wing vid and pepper vid it would be amusing and a piece of cake , but as always banger vid and I hope all is well 👍
