    Thanks a ton :))
    Keep up the good work, it really helped me with my 50 cc version :)

      No problem. At low speeds it's way off. At least with my K-Pipe 125.

    That finely matches what i've found. :)
    If you're wondering, how you can increase power, then i've found that it has been given a 17,5mm carb, which makes the intake diameter act as a restriction from 6500 rpm and up. :)
    Also, the cam has some wierd timings that does not really use all of the stroke length. You can see that in the specs in the service manual, which i can send to you if you'd like.

      Thanks for the info, but I'm selling the bike, so I won't make it any faster. How fast is yours going right now?

    • @PartykongenBaddi
      @PartykongenBaddi 9 років тому

      I max out at about 90 km/h on the gps. :)

      I max out at 101km/h on the display. Not in that video.

      Amersfoort81 Sounds pretty much like what i have experienced. I think the display comes closer to 107 or something, when i lie behind a truck on the highway, but i'm not sure, since i haven't driven since last november before today.
      Didn't have insurance on during the winter. :)

      I've lost some weight compared to the time when I reached that 101km/h. Will see what the speedo will show full throttle + tail wind. :) Haven't started the K-Pipe for some time now, also because of the winter time. But I don't expect that much progression.

    Ok so this explains much to me so you can disregard the question i posted in the other vid. Guess i have to buy something at 250cc. Cheers

      +crankypipo 250cc is much faster than 125cc. Try to find something liquid cooled with as much as horse power as possible.

    you should indicate the rider;s weight though.

      That's only for top speed or reaching a certain speed in a certain time. I had it up to 101km/h later on, not in the video.

      @@MotoSnax 101 is quite fast enough on urban and rural settings. I'm looking at one right now, for $1700 US dollars. It promises 105kph, though not sure how it can break even 90 or 95 with me weighing in at 115 kilos. Great little bike, I've heard!

    is there a way to get the real speed on the bike itself ?

    • @MotoSnax
      @MotoSnax  2 роки тому

      I don't know.. perhaps something like a speedo healer can be used.

      If I had one... I could. I only own the 125cc.

    is it possible to switch the speed indicator to mph?

    • @MotoSnax
      @MotoSnax  7 років тому

      That should be no problem. That is the advantage of LCD cockpits with digital speedometers.

      Amersfoort81 okay great, I really want to get this bike so I was just wondering that.

    It must be the gps that's off. If it was the odometer the difference would probably get higher as you went faster, not the other way around. I think the gps has some kind of lag time.

    • @MotoSnax
      @MotoSnax  7 років тому

      The GPS always worked fine in the car. It's a Garmin. Lag might be possible, but no longer than a few secs. I got another device now, but no more K-Pipe to test. On the other hand, the K-Pipe is a really cheap product, so it might also be that the speedometer is a bit weird. The Garmin device just has a GPS chip and gets data from expensive satellites. We will never know because I sold the K-Pipe. :)
