I was given a firearm at 10 years old. AND I RESPECTED THAT FIREARM. I was taught since I can remember firearms are NOT a toy. And it was a part of daily life how to use and respect firearms.

But was that firearm an AR15? Again, the narrative here is not to ban all guns. But AR’s, AK’s, and things that can be added to these firearms so they cause more harm is NOT necessary for everyday humans to be carrying around. 1-2 hand guns are enough for personal protection. Making sure guns aren’t purchased by ppl with mental illness and implementing longer wait times & more though background checks all makes sense! Why ppl are against common sense change is just stupidity.

Who exactly protected her son from being shot and all the other victims in Buffalo? It wasn't the lawmakers and the police. I know you are trying to make a point. But it really isn't valid. One of the women in that store in Buffalo called 911 and the 911 operator hung up on her. So she had to call her boyfriend and have him call 911.
I can defend my home with a 12 Gauge pump just as well, I don't need an assault weapon.

She was mainly talking about teaching children in schools black american history, because black history is very much a part of our american history as a whole. For some reason (systemic racism) a lot of it is being left out of the curriculum in schools.
