I could watch “The Technical Adventures of Mike & Rob” all damn day
My dream show. They could just start every episode with "what's this, why?" and the world will become a better place
@@mikemulligan4662 anything that makes them smile and puts that inquisitive, boyish twinkle in their eye is good enough for me
Or even all Dahm day.
More of this please!
Oh hell yeah.
Honestly, they should do a build together in the future!
Mike says to anyone: When you're ready, I can introduce you to the people who developed Indy car stuff... I'd be passed out before he finished the sentence.
Mike "knows a guy." Like everyone in the industry! 😂
🤯🤯🤯
This "nerding 0ut" on kool rotory builds was very entertaining. It was like being part of the conversation. I really enjoyed it.
Could absolutely make a series out of this called that.
*rotary
I love both of you guys!! UA-cam for me is like a hidden garden in the dessert. If you look you will eventually find some of the greatest people creating amazing shit.
Seeing Mike ooo and aaa like this is amazing lookin forward to more of this
Straight up
Thanks Mike & Rob :)
Love that you guys are helping out on his Pike's Peak car! Can't wait to see the finished product and how it performs! And I also love how Rob's CAD workstation is a Husky tool box/work bench. Lol
Damn 2 of my favorite content creators together! This is crazy!
No mechanical sympathy... Best line ever. Made me chuckle.
Please remember to have oxygen supplies to driver for Pikes Peak, I notice that's a details some builder/driver missed. 😅
Its so nice to see other UA-cam channels doing actual engineering and not just bolting on parts
Super cool crossover video!
A porsche radiator will probably fit on the front corner. Comes neatly package with a fan. 3 radiator set up.
Best collab ever!
holy shit this is that 12 rotor boat build I saw on youtube years and years ago. Awesome design since the rotors are opposed!
Have you suggested WPC and cryo to Rob for the rotary internals?
Two of my favorite channels, two of the more intellectual minds on UA-cam, coming together…can’t wait to see more of this friendship/partnership.
The FD will finally have some proper steering geometry, lol
Two nice guys trying to out nice each other. Two of the best technical people on UA-cam on one episode.
That moment two of the best youtubers come together, appreciate the content. Love you both.
Also black car hoodies, the tradition continues haha
Seeing Rob finally doing the most important mod of all "The Driver Mod" has got me watching some of his vids again.
Two of my heros in the same room! Hell yeah!
Mike is such a nice and genuine guy! It's so fun to see both of them nerd out on cars.
Such a humble guy! I watch and am subbed to Rob too, and you're both super chill, clever guys! Ever want to do a resto on a 01 JDM RA, i gots one :P
Me too those wild builds are great
Hell yeah, these are two of my fav car nerds. Can’t wait to see more of them together
Two masterminds of the craft that car is gonna fly! Glad to see you two working together.
Just 2 cool dudes hanging around in a garage, so cool✌🏻🤘🏻
You all or definitely worth the likes. Seeing this is awesome thanks to both of you an crews for allowing us to see it .
I'm so excited to see you two working together.
So cool to see two legends together just talking about cars and their visions. Awesome to also see them both be on the same level with knowledge and expertise. Great content, loved every second!
I love nerd questions from Mike!! Great collab guys!!
nerding out over projects is the best. If you're working on something and no one knows or cares, it's hard to share that deep passion. When others know enough to ask you challenging questions, throw out some ideaz based off their own experiences, it really inspires your passion.
Great collaboration
This is my favorite video in months. Just two guys who really know their stuff riffing off one another. I bet they had a hard time parting ways at the end of the day.
Such a great video! Two great and super smart car guys just shooting the shit
Cooling is important on long tracks with a lot of inclines. Just watch Misha Charoudin's driving cars on the Nurbugring TF, a solid 1/3 of the cars overheat mid track.
This is the collab we all wanted. Rob is the man 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Good video. I follow both of you guys and the content is always good. No bullsh*t. 👍
Cool watching two hyper-nerds together.
More collabs! Digging it!
Two of the main UA-cam channels I watch.
Watch and love both of these guys. True passion and intelligence there!
Rob friggin dahm is the best rotary guru in the hemisphere! Gotta love that he’s inspired by the kiwis and aussies, since they’re pretty well versed 😆
Thank you Mike and Rob. I can’t find the words to express how excited I am to see you guys working together. Absolutely legendary.
Talk about the engineering odd couple.... I've been a fan of both channels for years and the motoiq website was one of my favorites when i started autocrossing my Sentra Spec V in 2011. I'm down to see where this goes. Rob is a great "idea guy" and Mike gets the details. Looking forward to more. Im getting some kind of an automotive Mythbusters vibe.
Dahm is my favorite UA-camr. Awesome collaboration
I'm always pumped to see Mike help Rob out!
I'm so glad I live in a time where there is a way for guys like Mike and Dom to share their knowledge with a widespread audience.
I’m drooling over this collaboration
WOW, good job ROB and Mike. Can not wait to see final Pikes Peak car!!!
Mile is such pleasant man… really like his demeanor
Heck yeah! Glad to hear Rob is competing at Pike’s this year. Should be able to get a group out there this year to check it out.
You can tell Robs going to be a force to be reconed with with in the near future just by watching this look out competition 😮
Omg!! We all need Mike to go to everyone's garages talking tech with them!!
i love how he asked some real questions, pointing out how the groups of eccentric shafts are connected and the harmonics that would come with gear drive connection. i grew up with a race engine building father and i was so curious to this "project" motor cause there were things that didnt make sense... glad i have the answers
Mike Kojima is a national treasure ❤
I'm happy to see y'all working together! Y'all gonna get the 4 rotor on rails!
I started getting way more into cars originally after seeing Mike go through the original bored up EJ build, and watching Rob's channel grow only makes me even more motivated to get my own shop and wrench on stuff. This is a dream collab not just for Rob and Mike, so stoked to see how this journey develops.
I watch both of you guys and loved this episode. 2 real car guys cracking open the finite details of going fast efficiently. Thanks for this!
OMG this is the greatest thing ever!
This is the best matchup in UA-cam car nerd history
Very cool! I also enjoy Rob's content, although the safety part of my brain was screaming the whole during the 4-rotor project. Between the dangling wires and the unguarded drive shaft... 💀
The look of concern when he said 1,000hp 🙏
wow this is so exciting !
long-time fan of rob’s
first bc he was doing weird rotary things,,
and then over the yrs bc it was so clear how much more seriously he was taking developing rotaries than u’d expect from a youtuber hahah
discovered mike a few yrs ago, much more recently than rob and absolutely love all the glimpses moro iq shares into his beautiful mind full of ingenuity and accumulated knowledge
this is gonna be so cool to see unfold !!
My two favorite car guys in one video!
24:40 total gold right there!
that's what any body wants to here in that situation
This was a bad ass video!!!! Two awesome dudes!!!
Fantastic collab guys, I'm totally down for more engineering focused nerding out.
Fun fact, I didn't realize it until years later that one of the first detailed books I ever read on engine performance and modifications was written by Mike: "Honda/Acura Engine Performance".
It was here that I learned to love diving into technical writings. The book is ALL Mike, ALL the way!
Great Crossover!
2 of my MOST favorite YT guys. Amazing content from both channels, and its a gift that we get to watch them interact.
rob is the real deal ,we need rob and mike to work together🙌🙌🙌🙌
The crossover episode of the century
the devil casually chilling in the back 😊
My 2 top tubers join forces ! such a treat
I feel like I'm in the garage with you both. Wish really could be... Thank you for the endless knowledge you guys!
"12 Rotor"... "im sorry, wtf did you just say!?"😂
MORE of this please!!
Turbo on the twelve? 😢 Beautiful.
Dang I am so happy you and rob are getting together to do some work.
awesome video makes me wanna do things to my car
What a great episode these two are both geniuses!!
I was Rod Millen’s Crew Chief on Mazada’s Short Course Truck program and then went on to be his fabricator at his shop in HB. I went to Pikes with him and his son Reese (his first time up the hill) I have been very lucky in my career!
🙌🏼 yes!!!
Neeeed more of this
If I can’t get Rob Dahm from Rob Dahm I’ll get it from Kojima!
What a colab!
I could listen to these two guys talk tech nerd stuff 8 hours a day. These are the automotive grass-roots heroes.
Can’t wait to see what you guys do in the future!
I am very glad I found this channel a month ago and instantly subscribed.
always loved rob and mike is a legend this is a match made in heaven!
That thumbnail is gold 😂
17:50 WISDOM being the point here
it's weird when you hear it, it rings true
I can’t even conceive what that 12 Rotor would sound like? I’ve heard the Mazada GTP Lights car run at Watkins Glen and that ear piercing!
Pretty awesome collaboration! Thanks for bringing us into the den of dorito insanity, can't wait to see how this turns out!
Damn what a collab 🔥
This needs to be a thing for y'all. Keep up the great work.
Ive only watched a few of your video's an know right away your very good at what your doing. And to see you talking an given a awesome guy like Rob some help where you have the knowledge he needs. Love this!
Mike is the Uncle Iroh of anything car related
Let's get MANY MANY MORE EPISODES WITH BOTH YALL!
