Hi Aj, that was a really large Pine tree that you took down from the ground. Glad that you got the footage of pulling it over with the rope. That was an unusual tree in that it was one trunk on the bottom and split into 2 trunks going up. It looks like you got a good workout on that Beech tree. Climbing all over to cut the tree for a better shape must be very challenging. Glad that after all of the effort, you were pleased with the shape at the end. Seeing the footage before, it was too wide at the bottom so it looked much more uniform after it was trimmed. This will be a memorable Christmas for you and your wife with celebrating with your little boy as he grows up.
It was a shame that the digger broke as we required its help lol, it was pretty tiring to say the least and it’s his second Christmas but last year he was too young to understand so this year is for sure going to be more memorable
@benburns5995 if you don't already know , it's called co-dominant where the main stem splits into 2 competing stems, it's very common and is a recognised culprit for causing tree structure fails.
Smashing job with that sympathetic beech reduction!! The ring redirect is by far my favourite to use! Always keep a couple rings with carabiners on my harness!🤙🏻
Nice reduction without creating a lions tale mess. Watch out using the rope-runner pro in that MRS configuration as it can easily lock open and cause a fall if not checked after each accent. (its actually mentioned in the rope-runner instructions)..i mention it for anyone with less experience that might be learning from your vids.

Thankyou, I was aware of the issue but thankyou I should probably mention in the vid about that too!
