I've just realised that having something to detect the presence of a seat would be useful for if a bot manages to destroy your seat, so your vehicle's engine doesn't just start going full power.
@@nigel7779 But then how you you control the engine from the seat? Logic can only power and engine in one direction, meaning you'd need another engine, another set of bearings, and overall more things to deal with.
Man, I’d love to see that gas station. It might be too unwieldy to add a vacuum pump to the flyer, but imagine if you can just land at the station, activate a sensor, and start refueling
@@turrboenvy4612 it is more efficient in terms of component kits to build more craft bots, 1 craft bot costs 10 component kits but level 5 costs like 40 or 50 kits not including the craft bots cost. and since level 5 just redeuces process time by 50%, it's super inefficient for this purpose, you can incread production by 4-5x for the same compnent kit cost
@@pretzelface7285 I thought you needed to upgrade them to put them on repeat, but apparently that's just a matter of pipes connected. Fine! Connect all the craftbots!
Alright, well... I made 3 craft bots and hooked them up with 1 vacuum and input chest each and combined output to one chest. At first it was great, I filled up a whole chest in no time. So I swapped it for a new chest and it all went wrong. First it started filling the output chest with crude, so I turned off the pumps. Then it filled up the output chest and started back-feeding and filled the input chests with gas. I never thought "way too much fuel" would be an issue, but I've got over 1000 fuel in no time at all and nothing left to put it in.
Something they could do for the time on the HUD is to only put the hour, or have a Minecraft-like clock that shows morning, noon, evening, night. It would make sense fluff-wise, since your HUD is basically stuff your character "knows". Like what's in their pocket, and how hungry, thirsty and healthy they are
I've made and it definetly feels good. I mod my game to multiply all blocks the goes trough you by 8. So for all drops, stacks and crafting recipes you get/waste 8 times more blocks. It just allows you to actually build an structure somewhere, the grind for anything else is still there, it's simple and great. (Would recommend x4 and I can create the files for that as well)
G'day champ, Huge follower of your survival series and your group shenanigans, Bit too late to suggest now the C.K's are spent, but instead of one Max'd craftbot, could have set up 2 craftbots running in unison, bulkier system but 10 oil over 10 seconds sounds like a better option than the 10 over 12 system you have in this situation, given the issue of locality. Cheers champ keep up the top tier content!!
I believe you can shift click the bag when you die and it loads everything into your bag at once. I also think if you run a pump from that oil all the way back to your base with the vacuum tubes, it should work while you are at your base. I have mine hooked up with water like that and it works. You do not want to know how many vacuum tubes I built!!!
That's a great update, finally something game changing, now the full capacity of the game is unlock and players will not be limited by the tedious grinding of oil. I wish they add some quests also as soon as possible, as now there is not a lot to do after you achieve a self sustain state of existence in the game.
This is where you need your base there's water oil and chemical.. Make a house moving trailer and move it all over... keep the oil running while you do stuff
I think if they implement a "Take all" button for bags it should be locked until you put on atleast the fixed backpack with the Dressbot. That way the bot has a very useful reason for you to build it in a new survival world, even after you unlock all the clothes
He has spent wayyyy more than that buddy. You gotta think some of his recordings are probably HOURS cut down into a 20 minute (or so) video. He has been playing on this world since the survival mode came out as well so a decently long time... 100% longer than whatever the hell math you did.

hey kan, what about a warship that is like a floating fortress that has an extendable vacuum pumps that while flying lowers and sucks up oil without having to land? like a fill hose from a military plane that refuels smaller planes? but instead just has a hose that lowers with like pistons and while high in the sky youre able to refuel?
I've got so lucky with my map. Right across the street by the 1st mechanic station, which is surounded by cotton plants, are two big lakes with a pathway between them with a field of pigment flowers and corn plants. To the right of that field is an area with a chemical pond. If i drive instead straight ahead there's a desert and between both areas is the vendor. I curious what's coming next. =)
imagine if you could create underground pipes and get the fuel from the fuel chest over to a chest in your base, also it'd be cool if craftbots worked even when the chunk isnt loaded, you'd be able to go out, gather resources, come back to your base and whatever you started crafting would be done, MULTITASKING - 100.
They should make a clock that you can hang up and that clock would enabke the HUD clock for you when you are in the same chunk. Also you should be able to put this on a vehicle so when you are close you can still use it
I'd suggest you build something like a Hooklift truck. Should be pretty interesting. I've tried it in creative, and it works, so it shouldn't be hard for you to do.
Kan, since oil is so easy to get now, would you consider to make a auto stabilized flyer in survival? Like the flying ship you used to make with gyro stabilization
Not certain what your situation is in regards to a shipping vehicle (food crates, etc...) but would the design of a double decker bus work nicely for the transport of items due to no longer using trailers, or would using a more classical truck design work better?
kAN you could put pumps over the entire thing and it will most likely fill any chest / cargo container in a minute or so. Even with just 3/6 it will fill a crate pretty quick.
so i just made your exact setup and i dont know if its just the oil or that it hasnt been pumped in a tube system before but the oil will fill the container that the pumps are connected to and when its full it will go through the craft bot and FILL THE OTHER CONTAINER!!! i figured id leave a heads up so you can spread the word hope its just a bug and gets patched soon as the only way to stop it is to make sure theres 1 fuel in each slot of the output container or manually turn the pump off when the first container fills hope you see this before you run your world for hours with it on :-)
now that you mentioned a truck, i recently made a pickup in my world out of wood that ended up being really wide so now i've called it woody the hummer XD
While mildly unfeasible, it may not be a bad idea to start on a new base near the oil and chemical pond. Even if you dont move right away, yo ucould put it together and migrate all of the bots and such with a trailer

so, you had it wo where you got 10 oil every 5 seconds, but if you get rid of one of the pumps, it will keep producing gas at a steady pace where every set of gas you get one extra oil, and when that chest (with the oil) fills up, when the hoses back up they will cause lag which is bad, so I would sagest to get rid of one of the pumps
Imagine a oil pump tower with like 10 workbots and 20 pumps all working with around 20 chests for storage That much gas and you could build a flying mobile base or something like that
