The song sparked a lot of controversy due to the original lyric containing direct references to the October 7, 2023 attack of Hamas on Israel and the following Israel-Hamas war.
The song is originally called "October Rain" and hence the words of Netanyahu of "Never Again" throughout the song.
"Never again" to "hold me again."
"October Rain" to "Hurricane."

Israel should have won, they were the best by far, but the couwards of the country jury-votes didn't dare to be honest. I,m glad that the whole world audience listend to the story of Hurricane or better, Oktober rain. Deserved to win for sure. Ashamed our jury in Australia gave that stupid Irish act 12 points. Popular vote of 12 went to Eden.
Israel won the semi-final, the production of the competition was alarmed that we had song number 6 in the final and in addition in the evening the judges were instructed to thwart Israel's victory in the final because they knew that she won the semi-final in the end she only received 52 points from the judges and 323 points from the audience throughout Europe in the final. Judges 5 Each person is equal in strength to millions of voters and most of them gave to Switzerland so the votes of the audience did not matter. In terms of the audience, Israel finished 2nd in the final
