I got the N10 for free from metro about 3 weeks ago now, coming from a moto G stylus. This phone is a Us carrier(T-Mobile) Experiment. Meant to reel in people dancing in the lower midrange. And I must say this phone zips. I don't game and decent pictures will do for me. I do however flip crypt and play minimum 100hrs of YT videos a week on my phone and this more than does the job with excellent screen on time and competent performance. My one gripe is that a full body case with a built in screen protector causes touches to register poorly especially for the Navigation gestures. Besides that I'm looking forward to the next year or so with this guy.
This is a downgrade from the moto g stylus. The screen is better on the stylus as it gets brighter. The moto g stylus speakers are very loud and are stereo speakers rather than just dual speakers. I still prefer moto user interface as it feels a lot like pixel. Plus it had a pretty good stylus that is way better than a regular cheap $5 stylus but not on par with a samsung galaxy s-pen. This reviewer was quite rough on the Nord n10 5g camera. I have been quite happy with the moto g stylus camera but I prefer to use gcam as my default camera..... The moto one 5g ace is on sale now with metro.

Coming from Oneplus 6... Snapdragon is weaker in nord 2gb less ram Gorilla glass 3 instead of 5 Still like my Nord N10 so far. Have used it for a few days now.
Have the OnePlusNord.... Despite OnePlus's hype for this device; the camera is really crappy for a phone which costed 500 Euros, micro camera sucks and video recording suck big time too ... No update fixes for these :(
My GF has the Nord and I find the camera epic. I've had some pictures on Reddit with people asking me what camera gear I was using. She has had problems slow 4g/phone. OnePlus 3 I use works perfectly still.
Just bought this phone refurbished from Ebay for a great price so I hope it's better than it sounds in this review. I'm encouraged by the previous positive comments though.
Is this phone a good phone for people who work mainly from their phone on the go like zoom meetings and Microsoft teams meetings. Downloading pdf documents and signing them?
I am so tired of these tech reviewers Complaining about the OnePlus Nord N10 5G about the Fingerprint sensor it is the best physical fingerprint sensor placement and it Is to slow also Also Quick note: it is not slow it is literally fast!
people always worry about updates. I used to have iphones and at first i was gloating about the years of updates they receive.... then i finally realized the updates rarely added any benefit, and often times the phone performance dropped, and apps were broken with each successive update. feature creep is real, and a real problem. 'security updates' are well and good. but other than that i don't care anymore. the updates don't change how i use my phone or the apps i use. i also don't make a habit of viewing sketchy sites or downloading suspicious things on my phone, so the security updates aren't even that big of a deal.
Thanks for the review and I just got this brand-new for $100 and so for me this is a great phone I don’t know if it was worth 300 when it first came out … but one year later it’s 100 bucks brand new so.
I literally just bought this phone outright for 109$ this phone is amazing at that price point if you switch to Metro from another carrier the price is only 49.99$
Angie...is that her name? Seems to expect this phone to be a OnePlus flagship. Like the OnePlus 7 8 or new 9 series. Those phones are much more money but much better phones as they should be.
Would this be a good upgrade from a Samsung s10e? I’m asking for a 70ish mom. She’s savvy with smart phones but I don’t want to overwhelm her with a different UI from the “old people” interface option on the Samsung.
If I'm looking for a bigger screen phone to connect to my iPhone's hotspot just for media consumption, would you say this is a good option? I found it for $245.
I really like the for the price point and the only real competitor I could consider is the A42/32 but their displays aren't near as good. Neither is charging speed. I just wish the N10 5G felt more sturdy. I'm scared to drop it, unlike I was with my Android Note 10+
I don't care what she said. The thing is, this is a mid range phone, not a flagship and as a mid range phone this phone is way better than its competitors. If I talk about its price, then this phone is actually a value for money. Remember, this is not a flagship model. So, it's obvious that it will have a plastic body and an ips lcd screen. However, if they had used gorilla glass 5 then it would have been better. But still I won't complain about it because of the Snapdragon 690 5G chip that they have used in this phone. This is the chip that makes this phone unique and better than other mid range chipsets. Not gonna lie, but Snapdragon 690 5G performs better than Snapdragon 732g..
OnePlus was authentic and one of the best combination of optimized hardware and software till the 7T pro. After that, they started copying other phones and made no changes in the software or hardware either. They have gone down as a brand.

@@Bflo23 thanks for this. I bought both phones to try out and the stylus has been amazing at a far lower price. I think I won't bother opening up the Nord and just send it back
what is your battery for the pixel 4a 5g?
Anyone know what car game it is at 3:36 ?
Asphalt?
@Sree Charan Yay this is it thanks man!
Hey Angie, hope you have a great week/day. This was very useful.
5:07 monochrome or macro?
Finally, a headphone jack, this would be a great replacement for my 5T.
I just replaced my 5t with it and I like it so far
I've had this phone for about a week now and I'll note the pros and cons
Con's
Battery life is less satisfying then I expected I expected it to last a little longer but fast charging remedies this
Screen Is not the best of course its a average lcd HD screen oled is clearly a better option
Haven't used the camera that much but I would say the cameras are pretty average front and back nothing thats going to blow you away
Pros
5g is pretty fast and I get good connection mainly at the places I go to in my city
The 90 hz refresh rate makes scrolling alot more gratifying
The process is probably the best part of the phone its So smooth plus the 6 GB of ram I can comfortably run most apps and games with no issues
Great speaker quality
Bluetooth 5.1
Micro SD expansion
Overall
Its a great phone with some obvious compromises but lets be real what did you expect from a budget device if you can get this phone for free like i did its one of the best midrange phones money can buy
Rating : 7.9 out of 10
How about the Network Quality while inside bldgs?
@@keyblade5916 it’s not bad keep in mind this phone doesn’t support ultra speed 5G that’s the specific kind of 5G that struggles establishing a signal indoors
@@taewoodz4125 wow Thanks. Luckily didn’t Bought it months ago. Planning to buy it before. Coz of 5G since 4G in my area is congested. Thanks for this!
@@keyblade5916 I would say go for either one of the iPhone 12 variants or getting one of the newer Samsung s20 and up if you want the best in 5g technologies because they support ultraband 5g internet but also keep in mind they are still increasing the coverage of 5g every day so you may not be in alot of areas that have the fastest 5g available yet
Thank you. Finally, a comment that is not an obvious remark or a cringe meme attempt. I'm thinking of buying the N10 as a gift for someone who doesn't play games or cares for camera. Are there any issues with the fingerprint or the latest firmware?
I have verizon, is this phone any good on verizon?
No alert slider is no OnePlus phone. ☹️
Coming from Oneplus 6...
Snapdragon is weaker in nord
2gb less ram
Gorilla glass 3 instead of 5
Still like my Nord N10 so far. Have used it for a few days now.
By the way what are haptics and why should I turn them off?
Can one use Nova Launcher on top of the proprietary OS on Oneplus phones? Thank you.
You can use Nova Launcher on One Plus.
Why is wireless charging a premium?
Are you guys based in Florida now???
Honestly, are three question marks for this fucking question even necessary? (??)
@@dudeimgeorge Yes!!!!
I got it for $70 and heard it was really good for gaming
How did you got it for 70$??
Have the OnePlusNord.... Despite OnePlus's hype for this device; the camera is really crappy for a phone which costed 500 Euros, micro camera sucks and video recording suck big time too ... No update fixes for these :(
Haha, won't keep them from promising software updates for the camera until 2121.
My GF has the Nord and I find the camera epic. I've had some pictures on Reddit with people asking me what camera gear I was using. She has had problems slow 4g/phone. OnePlus 3 I use works perfectly still.
i got this phone and love it
I will get it tomorrow it is good ? For gaming and camera? ❤
@@lw.w its good for gaming but camera is sub par
Just bought this phone refurbished from Ebay for a great price so I hope it's better than it sounds in this review. I'm encouraged by the previous positive comments though.
Is this phone a good phone for people who work mainly from their phone on the go like zoom meetings and Microsoft teams meetings. Downloading pdf documents and signing them?
Does anyone knows what game she was playing? 3:45
Should i switch lines at metro for 109 bucks to get this phone?
Glass back?
I got it is very good no matter what other day about the phone I love it
I am so tired of these tech reviewers Complaining about the OnePlus Nord N10 5G about the Fingerprint sensor it is the best physical fingerprint sensor placement and it Is to slow also Also Quick note: it is not slow it is literally fast!
This one isn't available in my country. But if it did it'll pretty much be on the tail end of both Realme and Xiaomi. So maybe not a big problem
Its free to switch Metro pcs
You and I both are saying this cuz I gotta make sales 🤣
@@Weebtaco_ I don't mind him getting a sale if I get a free phone
people always worry about updates.
This is probably a stupid question and I apologize ahead of time for it, but can this phone play .mov's without changing the video format/player?
Oneplus grew too big and they became the one who they set to destroy.
That's themself
That's always gonna happen there's no other way they could've survived
Review is awesome👍👏
The best of all detailed reviews are here ..
I have a galaxy s8. Should I switch?
Great review! Thanks for the video.
I literally just bought this phone outright for 109$ this phone is amazing at that price point if you switch to Metro from another carrier the price is only 49.99$
wut....??
@@tylerdurden9896 just got this deal today!!! Bro it's so worth it after 8 years of using iPhone I finally switched fuck apple!!
OnePlus 8 or OnePlus 8 t which is value for money
Still want the answer?
Where have you been Angie?
The footage looks like it is from Pembroke Pines,FL!
Looks like Pembroke Pines outdoor mall.
It’s a budget phone!! I am waiting for the oneplus 9pro! 👍🏾
Could almost get 4 nords for one 9 pro 🙃
I Love That accent.
Thanks alot For this Review Angie.
I always look this Channel & Website to take Guide for My Channel ♥️
Angie...is that her name? Seems to expect this phone to be a OnePlus flagship. Like the OnePlus 7 8 or new 9 series. Those phones are much more money but much better phones as they should be.
sim not detected all brother pls help me the solution
Would this be a good upgrade from a Samsung s10e? I’m asking for a 70ish mom. She’s savvy with smart phones but I don’t want to overwhelm her with a different UI from the “old people” interface option on the Samsung.
S10e is better than this phone
Unless u mean the A10e
@@brianmateo8041 No. the s10e. Good to know. Thanks
If I'm looking for a bigger screen phone to connect to my iPhone's hotspot just for media consumption, would you say this is a good option? I found it for $245.
This phone is still running great, but I have 2 minor issues. The fingerprint reader and double tap to wake are hit and miss.
I really like the for the price point and the only real competitor I could consider is the A42/32 but their displays aren't near as good. Neither is charging speed.
I just wish the N10 5G felt more sturdy. I'm scared to drop it, unlike I was with my Android Note 10+
Is still a worth buying in dec 2021?
Didn't Oneplus confirmed that it will get only one softwate update? That means Android 11 is its last
Lol yup
She said that
I don't care what she said.
This phone is pretty cheap right now & seems like a pretty good phone overall. I might end up buying it.
OnePlus was authentic and one of the best combination of optimized hardware and software till the 7T pro. After that, they started copying other phones and made no changes in the software or hardware either. They have gone down as a brand.
Idk what to do!! Either the n10 or the pixel 4a. I think I want the pixel. Don't need 5g, but this phone sounds pretty good. Hard decision!
I miss retro phones and beepers. They still use beepers in hospitals though. 😊
Then get a job at your near hospital!
