Iron maiden are my favorite metal band, their music is absolutely powerful and they are extremely good musicians, they have so many phenomenal songs and albums, finally saw them live in the Tacoma dome several years ago and it was amazing. when I saw them live last year this was the first song, all the lights were off during the slow intro and when the guitars kicked in the lights go on and I SEE A GIANT FUCKING PLANE ABOVE THEIR HEADS MOVING AROUND! IT WAS INSANE HAHAHAHA

When you said i cant believe 6 people wrote this song its actually just 2 Bruce Dickinson wrote the lyrics and Steve Harris the bass player is the main writer of Iron Maiden and the creator of the band wrote the rest of it, with the rest of the guys helping with writing on songs as well sometimes but Aces High was written by Steve and Bruce.
I envy this guy in a good way. Of course I still enjoy iron maiden but that first feeling of "what on earth is thiiiiiiiis" Is Priceless

Singers name is bruce Dickinson, he had throat cancer middle of this decade, and after he beat it, he sings so on point. they toured after he beat cancer, saw them on both following tours, OMG. Perfect

Yes they still tour. Despite being in their 60s age wise and still release music with their last album being a few years ago, their last album being in 2015.

Maiden is indeed impressive. My 2nd favourite band growing up, discovered them in 1980 NOTB album, followed by my 2nd album ever purchased, Peace of Mind which had such an impression on my 14 year old soul.
RUSH’s Moving Pictures was my 2nd purchase and I became a long life fan and Rush became my favourite band for the next 35 years, saw them 25 times live.
Please review Hemispheres from Rush- side 1- in it’s entirety, with lyrics, and be prepared for a cosmic journey of the soul and mind.

There are bands that play faster...there are bands that play louder....but I challenge anyone to find a band who has the level of precision that his band has. Iron Maiden has made their career with absolutely ZERO radio support and limited music video support from MTV. They did it by grinding on the road over and over again, building up a grass-roots fan base, and staying loyal to their fans....which in turn kept their fans loyal to Maiden. I personally would love to see you react to Number Of The Beast. I remember it was the very first Iron Maiden song I ever heard....and it scared the crap out of me.

Good reaction! The first two albums this band made were good too, but they had a different singer at the time. To me, those albums showcase how good the band behind the singer is; because the former signer, although competent when he was sober, was nowhere near the quality of a Bruce Dickinson.
