I didn't think anything could be better than 'Experience', then I was sure nothing could be nicer than 'Nuvole Bianche' but this one, this is the one. FYI - I'm a 36 y/o black guy, from the U.K. raised on Hip-Hop - that's my life and I'm proud of that, but this is seriously special.
Einaudi puts everything right in the world. Listening to his art gives me such happiness and peace, I could listen for a lifetime. If this was the last thing I heard before I died I woould die happy, knowing that true beauty lives on through this music.
Can you substantiate the claim that he drew inspiration from those sources? Also, a good musician can learn from all music, not just the music he likes.

In my language Ancora means anchor, yet the italian word means "more". Which got me thinking. anyway, this is master piece, and not just this piece of music, any other composition of him, I am gratefull for his choice of making the soundtrack for the untouchables because when i watched the movie, that moment was the one i was absolutely mesmerise.
In Italian language you can pronounce "ANCORA" with the accent on the 1st A, "àncora", meaning "anchor" (from Ancient Greek "agkira"), or with the accent on the O, "ancóra", meaning "again" or "to this moment" (from Ancient Latin "hanc horam"), but they're not the same word with two different meanings: they're two completely different words indeed. Personally I've always heard it pronounced Ancóra, so "Again" (the music here is a repetition of the same base short melody with variations which, along the whole piece, narrate a story made of different emotions and colors), but since the title doesn't show any accent it could be either of the two, and to be sure we should ask Einaudi about it.
