I’ve seen the whole video. The mixed reality is really very cool.
It’s a lot of editing work but I would recommend MR for situations where you aren’t doing a lot of moving, like 🥧-ing an angle and a 1st person view for situations where you do a lot of looking and moving about.
30 seconds in this is aweomse. One idea, some green tape or whatever color the background screen is, on the cable going from the VR headset

word, a vr mil sim war type game with vehicular combat and actual com usage and actual teamwork would be nice

Oh you really played it with the VR stock to, howd that go? Couple of my guys had one and swear it disrupts their ability to grab their equipment in game.

Technically possible but would be a nightmare to setup.
I've seen videos of people doing that by having multiple setups in the same room, but then you can't have locomotion in the game and can only have physical walking and stuff for you to be able to keep tracking lined up in the video. It would take a huge room and a very limited game. I'm sure there are other ways that could potentially make it happen but I have no idea how

Hey pairs, I’m curious if you ever get ur valve cord tangled up like I do. I have mine strung up to the ceiling like you too, but it still wraps it self up. I’ve got it with 3 points of restraint so I’m not sure what’s going on.
I do on occasion. I find that if I give the cord a bit more slack it does better. If the tether is right up against the HMD, the VR cable gets twisted with the ceiling string.
@@ControlledPairsGaming Ok cool, I think I may have messed up and not centered my first tether right over my play area. Instead it’s at the rear so I’m pulling on it like a damn leash.

There's one buried in my Instagram somewhere. It's a Ronin Task force with Safariland holster, Spiritus JSTA, BFG mini-IFAK, and an old OR dump pouch.

The tech is cool and all but honestly I think it'd be better in the corner, be it the third person augmented reality view as shown here or just real life.

This game is getting overhyped. Which i think might actually hurt it.
I was hoping for something a bit more like Ready or Not in VR like everyone is selling it to be.
It plays more like an unfinished game of Onward (with slightly jenkier interaction) at the moment. Not too bad for 8 pounds if you don't already have Onward.
It's not there yet FYI for anyone thinking of buying it for being 'the most immersive tactical game'
Hope it continues to get some love by the devs and sees some success if they keep working on it.
Might have a harder time getting on official Meta store as it is a direct competitor (almost too much alike) to Onward, which I believe is owned by Meta now (?)

Do NOT buy this game if you have Windows Mixed Reality. I got hyped up by Controlled Pairs and got it, and the game is a trainwreck on WMR. Button mapping is all wonky (fire selector is the same as mag release, cannot run, no way to exit to menus etc) and aiming is broken. Developer doesn't care about WMR either and will not acknowledge or fix the issues WMR users are having. I'm out 15 bucks at this point, so nothing I can do, but this is a warning to other users,
If they were gonna copy Onward, they could at least copy the controls aswell so people can make the adjustment 😅
Also pulling the slider back on an AR need precision interaction. In a heavy firefight, its way too annoying.
Its too easy to accidently pick up the AR with your off hand when trying to put your second hand on the pistol too. No matter where i move the vest setup too.
Being able to move the knife well away from all the other equip was a nice touch tho. I hate when you pull a knife trying to get a clip out. How often do people actually use the knife! 😂
