I have a Shoei helmet but I've been thinking of upgrading to a good ADV helmet and the Krios caught my eye. I can definitely see the advantage of a lighter helmet for longer rides. Fatigue is a real thing and a heavy helmet is a pain in the neck. I suppose the clever magnetic strap latch is patented but I'd like to see that on more helmets. That's easily worth an added $200. I like quiet helmets, though. Noise is another form of fatigue. I know most people ride with ear plugs but I prefer not to with a quiet bike, and I'm seldom traveling at highway speeds. I'm going to check out the Loop ear plugs you recommended.
The highway is always tough for me. I keep telling myself I’m not gonna go on the highway, but then I always find myself there. But yeah check out the loop earplugs. I also have seen some newer brands coming out. Supposedly pretty good so shop around maybe try a couple
Just curious, did you have to do any of the shaping of the harder foam inside to fit comfortably? I've heard about several folks using the back of a spoon to press in a little bit of the EPS foam inside to fit better or take away a pressure point. I tried one on and it hurt my head a little, dead center, just back from my forehead. The dealer said a little spooning in that area would resolve it. Apparently Klim says a little adjustment like that isn't an issue.
damn its a nice helmet, deciding on this or budgeting on a bell ADV helmet for my 2nd/offroad helmet. Might need to get a new regular helmet wiped out pretty hard on sand :\
Spot-on review!👍
Just got the same helmet and ADV Larry is spot on in his review! I love the light weight.
Dear Sir, Could you tell me the exact weight in relation with the size please. Thanks in advance for your reply.
🤣
Some kind of honey comb technology in there
Totally worth the price to protect your head. You can live without an arm or leg, but living without a head is much more difficult. 😮
Larry- can you tell us about your helmet Bluetooth & how to install it? Great content! Thanks

I actually did. I used a small ball and rolled it a little bit where my forehead sits. just slightly.
