    Don't think about the so-so low volume of your video. What most people here don't understand is that you're soft-spoken, your voice is mellifluous (I've always loved that word😍)

      Thank you, that’s very kind! Mellifluous can be the word of the day… what a fantastic word!

    Hey teacher, thank you so much for sharing this video! The content is invaluable, and just hitting 'like' wouldn't fully express the profound impact your video had on me. However, I did notice that the audio was a bit problematic, which made it quite difficult for me to understand everything clearly

    • @TheEnglishCatESL
      @TheEnglishCatESL  Місяць тому

      Thank you! Actually I have no idea how to fix the audio, when I edit it’s very clear, when I watch it back it’s loud and clear, when I watch it on UA-cam, again good quality audio.
      But I have the same comment from a couple of people that they cannot hear me well - so any ideas on how to fix this - I’m all ears 😂

      This is interesting because I can’t find any issue with the audio, what device are you listening on?
      I’ll try to find out if there’s something in my settings that I can change.

    British? American english?... why the YT people do that?... please teach one of them at each video... learn both at the same is frustating 😢😢

    • @TheEnglishCatESL
      @TheEnglishCatESL  Місяць тому +1

      I specifically focus on British English and I only teach British English, but I always make sure my students are aware it may be said in a different way.
      I agree there should just be one type of English, but that’s not our reality. I’d hate to teach a student to ignore American English, but then they find themselves in a situation, for example an interview where the interviewer speaks American English. This would put the student in a very awkward position where they don’t understand.
      That wouldn’t make me a very good teacher.
      Feel free to watch my video on whether you should learn British English or American English, because it all depends on your specific situation.
