Keep doing what your doing great job. Just something different to try, I cut the cap back, not off. I season the inside, lay the cap back over it, smoke it cap down so, the juice and seasoning remains in the meat. A friend of mine told me about it, I tried it and loved the flavors it gave off. For a 10 hr smoke, how much of the pellets do you think you used? I’m looking into buying the RT-340. The one guy commented before, but it’s $599 now. #hausebbq
I filled them up to the top and when it got low just halfway....so at the end it was some still left. I dont think it burns much at all depending on the brand of pellets you get...how low your smoking etc

use a stand mixer to pull. Works well.
