Absolutely A++++ video for content, editing, and scenery. I like the merging of hiking and historical sites. Since you asked, Massachusetts my second house 😊.
I grew up near Chattanooga, Tn. and very familiar with this region. Again, excellent video and information. At one point a few years ago, the lead guitarist for Pat Benatar (now her husband) worked in the music store in Liepers Fork. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for allowing me to vicariously travel with you. I love civil war history and seeing old plantations. I also love old Native American history. I have been on the Natchez Trace in Mississippi. Didn't Merrywether Lewis die around the Garrison park? Great video!💪😀
Been to almost all of these places. Can def spend the entire day in Leiper’s Fork shopping, eating and day drinking. Also for those into mountain biking Wilkins Branch bike park is just down the road from LP Market Gas Station and Red Byrd coffee shop
Care to switch lives for a week? I'll explore and you can sit behind this computer crunching numbers. Great information and very well put together with minimal production.
What a beautiful city! Your video really did it justice because through it I can see what a charming, lovely area it is. You also gave me lots of ideas of places to see when I visit Franklin in March.
That’s unfortunate. The town is very cute, friendly and rather upscale. Tennessee as a whole has a lot of confederate flags sadly but I don’t recall seeing any in Franklin, much of that is found in the more rural areas. I found Franklin very safe and I hope you find it that way too
@@xxkasperxx oh my gosh no you’ll be fine at gas stations. I’m sure you’ll just see flags on peoples homes as you drive but sadly that’s most of that whole region. Tourism is big business and store owners will be the last people to be discriminatory in most places
We're leaving Thursday to do the Newfound Gap to Clingmans Dome trek. Franklin looks very nice but it's a little far for this trip. Travel subject: Climbing some mountain or trekking in nature with history a close second.
We need to continue to learn from our history. America is and never was perfect. But in all of our flaws we remain the most amazing place to live on this planet. This is why it is so very scary to see history being erased in every state. We need to celebrate how far we have come and not continue to destroy our nation over mistakes of the past. No nation is perfect. No person or place is perfect..... But life is about finding as many perfect moments as you can and stringing them together into an amazing life. Treat others well, and be apart of those perfect times.. and this world would be a better place.. Again, thank you for sharing... you are an amazing bright spot in an otherwise pretty crazy world.
Did you notice the historic courthouse on the square looks like the one from Back to the Future? I'm so glad you did this video, and even stopped for a picture on the caboose in Thompsons Station. You're welcome back to my "turf" anytime!
That was supreme Alice and I thank you for the Bowie book and lake-all that food looked delicious and methnks that you were eating it as if it was going out of fashion!-take care...🇬🇧👠
I wish I had known you were in Franklin on my birthday, no less! I would have loved to have said hello! Thanks for the great videos and doing what you do :)
If you had to pick one subject when traveling would it be history, food, nature or something else?

Thank you so much.
It would be history for me!👍
@@alaskanmal63 I am super sorry to hear that! Stay strong and try to draw from your inner strength!

Thank you so much. I’m not sure about Merryweather I will have to look that up.
@@AliceFordAdventures seems like I heard he was killed or killed himself near there. Some contraversy around his death!
Thanks for the 📸. . I like how you make us a part 🙂 of the trail 🥾 to. Have a great day.⭐ Ken Machine NC 😊
Great video. Lots of good information. You are awesome.
Thanks Richard. Glad you liked it

No longer eating cheese and bacon? Goodness gracious...hope you aren't just a brussel sprout or broccoli advocate.
Nice video, though, as always.
😂 I’m pescatarian and lactose intolerant so I try to avoid the foods that make me feel less than great. These were tasty though. I do love cheese
Wow, you're stunning
Your so beautiful! And good at explaining things lol .
Don't eat cheese anymore, don't eat bacon anymore, but I am glad you had a good time in Tennessee.

That area looks awesome! Great arms btw
Really well done! You gave me several good ideas of things to do when I go back to visit this summer.
I’m so glad to hear that
Since there are so many historic buildings, are they handicapped accessible?
Most were, the plantation had ramps and wide paths but some of the exterior buildings would be difficult to tour in a wheelchair.
wow. 큰 사이즈 햄버거
Come to Bristol TN and Scott County Virginia. There are all kinds of Hiking Trails and Waterfalls in my area! Plus pleanty of good food!
Very cool !
We planned on visiting Franklin until we saw the lady running for mayor and her white supremacist bodyguards....how's the town overall?

@AliceFordAdventures so we are driving down to lynchburg...should we not stop for gas in certain areas? Sorry to take your video in another direction

that candidate lost in a landslide. Biggest mayor race turnout in years.
Great video Alice! , really interesting material, content, and great reviews too. Glad you got to visit such a place. Stay Healthy.
this is great information...thanks for sharing!
Been there. Thanks for supporting the rights in America.
Visited Franklin a couple days ago, wish I had watched your video first. Thanks for all the great ideas next time I go back!!
Hope you still had a great time.
Everything looked delicious!!! 😋

Have a great time in the Smokies, if you want a farther hike try Rainbow Falls to by Gatlinburg or Alum Cave

Thank you thing, I agree sometimes it's difficult to speak about our history and our past but it's absolutely necessary to make a better future
