Why do you have to go that hot for the crackling I normally only go 220c to 230c for 45mins to 60mins then back to 180c for the rest of the cooking time is ot because of the Ziggy BBQ
Is that in a fan forced oven? The Ziggy doesn’t have movement of air and the extra heat can be helpful if so 😊

Paul Tabone if you pull out the brake away pin this will activate the brakes straight away & also drain the battery, do NOT do this if you have hydraulic disc brakes as pulling out the brake away pin will activate the disc brakes on the van by operating the hydraulic pump that supplies pressure to activate the brakes & will run continuously (until pin reinserted or battery goes flat) and over heat pump & damage it or the hydraulic system plus drain the battery. Hope this helps
Hi I don’t have a hydraulic system on mine it’s all electric. And I will use very little power, but if someone tries to tow it away the system will lock on , I also have a lock on the drawbar …

My wife and I have just watched this episode a second time. Chris, your proposal was wonderful, however, we absolutely bawled our ours out crying with emotion over Jayda's desire for you to adopt her. You are the luckiest man in the world to have both Sian as your wife and also a young lady who wants you to be her new father. She obviously misses her Dad greatly and now you can be the new Dad. Chris be careful with the Ziggy’s back heat vent being too close to the wall of the caravan as it will heat damage anything close.
You can screw out the grease trap a few turns this will stop the top folding fully back creating a wind break as well as stopping the heat going out to what’s behind it
I have seen BBQs catch fire when the temperature is in the red zone
