- Hundreds of young Kenyans have taken to the streets of Nairobi to protest against the government's proposed tax hikes, clashing with police who have fired water cannons and tear gas to disperse them. The demonstrations -- dubbed "Occupy Parliament" -- began in Nairobi on June 18, before spreading nationwide two days later.

Kenyan police are barbarians as seen in the past peaceful protests by Kenyan youth. They were the antagonists and the disturbance to a cause that advances the welfare of all Kenyans including them. Hopefully these too will exit the stage or conform when the country adopts progressive steps that lead to a better Kenya.

Kenyan youth protests are peaceful. Kenya police are the ones who are barbarians. Media houses should arrange live sessions where these Kenyan politicians debate Kenyan Gen Zs on real issues that the countey is facing to wake them up on their irrelevance as leaders in this day and age. There is an awakening in Kenya among the young Kenyans that demands for accountability to the citizens of Kenya for all people holding positions of power in this country.
