Helloooo I am a boere meisie living in Madeira. I didn’t know of this nice cafe in Ponto do Pargo. I have friends living there also from SA ..... I am in Ponta Delgada .....been here for 31 years, and I still find new things to see. Madeira keeps you busy with all the activities every weekend at some little place some where.... if you young you won’t get bored. And I am still in ore of the beauty around me. When I go for my walk I just love looking at the beautiful mountains , with all the trees and bush. I love being here and I still can’t believe hat I am still here. I came when there was no high ways....as a nightmare for me. Long story....lol 😂

@@Hittheroadmadeira Hi Jeff, I ended up finding a company to transport the car for a decent price and another company for the luggage (we received the car 2 days ago!). We are trying to keep our monthly expense down so we can't do Patreon. Hopefully in the future we can support you and the work you are doing :). By the way, I think I saw your Camel Disco (it looked clean!) near where we are living, so we might bump into each other one day, my Toyota is a hard to miss haha
I'm South African Portuguese. South Africans can't really tell you publicly what they think of Madeira, especially when compared to SA. It's not PC, It's true, but not PC. Also, who cares what South Africans think about Madeira anyways? 🤣
I know very little about South Africa. But I follow a channel of a south African. He is called Wisnton and his channel is called Serpentza. He and his American college run a channel that focuses on China. Their podcast is called ADVChina, every Friday they do an about 1:30h show that focuses on china mostly. Both guys have lived in for about 15 years in China. They felt they no longer were welcomed in china. Winston has a British background, he is a suit guy, always wearing a suit, and I have been following them since 2018. They used to drive around china on their bikes, it was pretty cool, and they were a bit critical of the Chinese government, not as much as they are, they couldn't do it as they are doing it now. But now they are now living in America now. They did a documentary called Conquering North of China, it's very cool, their friendship and how they showed the people of china. @serpentza @TheChinaShow
