So much work goes into building these boats we sometimes do not appreciate it. This one especially is truly hand built and it was enlightening to see. Think of what lies ahead!!
Thank you so much to SeaWind & the owners of hull #1 for letting you film on their boat! Thank you Nick for bringing us all along! It's been a fascinating journey, but now that we can see the finish line I'm getting impatient for hull #2's debut!
I like how it started as "over 2-years" in a previous video, then turned into 3-years (@00:15) and then at the end of the video, it's apparently 4-years of waiting (@12:38). Meanwhile, your "An Update On Our Search For The Perfect Catamaran," where you announced you'll be working with SeaWind was announced in Feb 2020. Sheesh... has it been that long? I can't believe we've been following you on this journey for almost 4-years, from research, to making a decision, to all the discussions of theory, technical design, the build and finally... the first launch. How exciting! The years just breezed by; can't wait for YOUR boat to be built and delivered and seeing the journeys it takes you on. I know you've both been at it for well over 4-years, but looking forward to the next 4... and the next! And then a SeaWind of my own when the kids leave the house. Cheers! :)
You'd think that people (me) would concentrate on the big stuff and ignore the fluff ... but I love the Nicky and Jason Wynn reference to your chat in Tahaiti resulting in bumpers on the back of the boat. However, I still have nightmares about the beach shower roadside discussion. Working on it
Wooww. You've waited too long, and now it's time to celebrate.Great stress and fatigue.I wish you safe travels.May the wind and the sea always be with you.Congratulations..
Awesome thanks for making these videos of the production team in Vietnam. I worked in the Seawind factory for 13 years in Australia and we developed the 1160 and 1250 models here. The processes of construction and moving the boats was much the same as they're doing it now in Vietnam and we suffered through some very hot days too. I like to keep in touch with how the company is going and it's so cool to see them still developing new models and providing great boats.
Has to be "EMOTIONAL" having this amazing SEAWIND 1370 RR2 with your awesome knowledge, experience & input put into your sailboat. For me just starting out & to follow you guys, has given me inspiration to follow my dreams. I have honestly limited sailing experience but as I am close to Retirment & a love for the high seas, travel & adventure, my lifelong dream is wanting to sail around the world, no house included 😂 & buy a sailboat. Having reviewed on UA-cam, I just love these sailboats with so much Australian & worldwide admiration for their design & most Importantly safety features. I have put myself out there to do courses etc so any advice, guidance would be most appreciated by you guys & your followers would be most appreciated. Looking forward to your long-awaited adventures. Cheers & Bon Voyage Andy 👍🥂
oh my gosh that Marina spaceship is on another level mate, well done guys, breaking the mold into a new future, I'm sure it's worth what it weighs, as well as all the sacrifice and waiting you've put up. past and thank you brother that you find it sharing and make us part of this beautiful chapter,,, the best of luck and that soon you can enjoy it well relaxed in some paradisiacal place 👌✌️👍🙌🌬️🌎⛵ good winds and that your history be my paradigm to reach 🙏 for all of us who love this sailor world 😀🙌
Steve Carell screaming "OH MY GOD, OK IT'S HAPPENING!!" was in my mind, when i saw the video title. I can't wait to see your smiles when you get RR2! Cheers, you deserve it!
Congratulations to all. Thank you to Seawind for allowing Nick and Teresa to have us along on the amazing build of an amazing catamaran, and the build crew for tolerating us. The boat is even more beautiful than I imagined. The video makes me think of a line from a song, "AT LAST my love has come along''. Can hardly wait to see more.
What a emotional video, so much at stake, finally it is launched. The first one in that series, I can wait to see the next video how it performs. So much work work it takes to build any boat.
Wow. I found myself joking up. Congratulations to the amazing team that made this happen from design to finishing touches. Wonderful days ahead for you, Nick, and Terysa. An absolutely beautiful boat. (From a non-sailor)

FINALLY! What a journey! I cannot wait to see what sea trials are like and to see RR2 splash, which shouldn't be too far behind hull #1. And I am super glad to see the Wynns mentioned, as I perhaps might never have found this lovely channel if not for that meetup with them in French Polynesia way back when. Fingers crossed for a reunion, this time with both couples sporting sleek, shiny new boats!
Congratulations, can't believe how time has flown by since your first episode Sailing Ruby Rose 6 years ago and now you have a beautiful catamaran. Well done to all who built and designed the boat also, she looks amazing!.
