Lorenzo Amoruso is a blast from the past. Superb player and leader for the Rangers. Always loved Arthur Numan as well. The glory days. We will rise again.
I thought Kelly was good last night, commanded his box, vocal and dealt with all the crosses. Thought Nsiala was outstanding and his range of passing was first class, great team performance throughout and deserved the win.
Nsiala is really comfortable on the ball. He's left sided and when Souttar or Sterling returns it'll be interesting to see if he keeps his place over Proper in the left centre back role. He's certainly going to be a decent player.
Clinton will be 21 in the next week. It's crazy that the lad hadn't played a single senior game until a week ago. Sadly he is just another red flag for me when it comes to PC. Why has this lad not played until PC was forced to play him through injury? He is clearly a talent. Its more evidence that PC is not the man to take us forward when we have such an emphasis now on bringing through players for the trading model. Hagi was my Motm last night, but Nsiala was a close 2nd in what was generally a good all round performance last night. Excited to see the lad more, my fear is he gets dropped immediately when more senior players are available or we bring in some 35 yr old has been on loan this window. Haven't seen a centre half put balls on a six pence like Nsiala like he did last night for a very long time, very impressive. 👏
Never in all the time I have been watching the game have I see the deal that they are supposed to have done with Cortes. You take a player on loan to see if they are up to the job , never have I seen anyone take someone on loan and tell their club we will definitely buy him after a year. The stupidity in this club knows no bounds , absolute madness.
Why we agreed to pay that much for Cortes is a baffling decision after a handful of games before the injury, with his persisting injury record its a worry.
My hope is that its like an igamane situation. Clement told us how good igamane was in training and maybe its the same for cortes. That they know the talents there so he was a must buy at all costs. Idk though, i could be clutching at straws
@@yogaflame7884 definitely hope we get proved wrong and he can sustain a period of injury free time to show us what he can do! I will be more than happy to eat humble pie if we get another Igamane level player.
Highlighting that he was turned by nisbet and booked? That will happen in games, even the most experienced defenders get turned by strikers in every league in the world. Nsiala looks to have the ability to really progress, and he has to be part of the 1st team squad going forward. Ultimately bigger tests are away at Killie etc against strikers like vassell that will run the channels all day long but time is on the lads side and I'm sure he'll be a success
Wish he would stop referencing the financial situation in every press conference, we know the situation and are sick hearing him talk about it. Just get on with it!!
There were 3 standouts. Hagi, Igamane and Nsiala. I still don't rate Clement. The guy saving Clements skin is the guy he judged not good enough. The only reason he is playing youth is because of injury.
Surely good loan signings are possible, it's half way through the season and PL teams will have players who have fallen out of the 11 or aren't what the manager wanted. I'm just pleased Aberdeen have fallen off, at the start of the season they played some fantastic football, just don't have the squad to compete over a season. Are there any good young Scottish youth players who look bright for the future we could look at?
Opportunity appears in every crisis. It shows me the fear we have as an organization in letting go of control and getting the young boys minutes. Scrap the B team, send everyone out on loan and scout them. Anyone showing promise is in the squad next year and getting some minutes.
He looks more composed and better in and out of possession than any other CB we have. We need to trust the younger hungrier types more. We get more out of them and no fear. We need to become better than Celtic at bringing on and playing youth and selling for big fees
Everyone can see Dio is a really good player? Really? The lad has one good game in 4 or 5. He's miles off expectations expecially considering the money we paid for the boy. Jury well and truly out, still, and it's been a year!
Dio has been one of our best players in Europe and against tht mob. Al agree tht in the other games in the league he’s not as consistent or doesn’t influence the game as he does when play the better teams. Him and raskin are the best cm pairing we have by far.
@stub-dton he's in there by default mate. He's not close to Raskin in terms of impact and consistency, certainly of late when it comes to Raskin. We don't really have other options and he kinda has to play if we want to utilise the player trading model based on what we paid for the lad. I don't disagree he shows brilliance at times, but like I said, it literally 20-25% of the time. He's well off it most games. There is a player there, I hope, but again, can't argue the jury is still well and truly out.
He is a good player and no doubt we could sell him for good money if he can bring consistency too his game. That said, with us spending nearly £4.5 million we expect more.
Don’t need two new centre backs … one and nsiala with souttar Balogun and propper that is plenty. We need other positions filled as well and have a limited budget.
Happy with the 3 points but it was a nervy watch, so many missed chances, the bears only got to enjoy the last 4 minutes, the worst sheep team I have ever seen, Clancy didn't have much to do but he's still one of the worst refs ever to appear in the SPL and IMO he has an obvious agenda, the combination of Clancy as ref and Walsh on VAR had me worried.
Was at the game, overall it was turgid and boring. We score from mistakes and countering teams. What am i missing about this dominant display? Still zero pattern to what we're trying to do. The amount of overplaying in the box and long balls is wild. Strikers got hardly any balls into feet. Scored 2 when Aberdeen went for it. It wasn't great at all cmon
Yes its good to win, but 29 chances and only 3 goals.😮 If we had any of our great forwards playing last night we would have scored a barrow load. And this usually ends up as one good and one disasterous, so lets see what happens next.😅😂😅😂 Cernay had 4/5 chances to produce a half decent pass and failed. Hopefully Rangers improve over the next few weeks.
Matondo leaving, if dessers leaves and maybe Dowell, things would look so much better regarding wages and hopefully get two/three in and we re looking so much better for next year
Nsiala was and has been pretty tidy comin out from the back and Hamza is gonna be the new ally McCoist quality he is.and dessers scored a nice goal.onto cup tie at wk end
The range of passes from the young centre back was excellent
He looks our best CB and can cross better than Tav.
Lorenzo Amoruso is a blast from the past. Superb player and leader for the Rangers. Always loved Arthur Numan as well. The glory days. We will rise again.
Igamane can score all kinds of goals and will try anything if he misses it doesn't put him off reminds me of super ally he really does
Could only hope he can go up ten notches to get to the level of Ally Mccoist. But he is 21 and still may improve.
His quick feet, control and skill look more like Laudrup level... but he looks cool as a cucumber like Super Ally in front of the sticks..
When propper blocked the shot his left boot got stuck in the turf jarring his left knee which could be a bad injury
Thanks
Liked the half time WhatsApp message from Josh.

@ yeah same
Still need that cutting edge.
The first priority on transfers is getting rid of the dead wood

Great to get a clean sheet
I just worry if we can keep hold of Igamane, I think he’s the real deal
Nusiala looks a find
Koppen def has an eye for these cheaper players with high potential ceilings
Nisala should get a run in the team, it's the only way to bring him on. Good result we just need this away from home.
Wish he would stop referencing the financial situation in every press conference, we know the situation and are sick hearing him talk about it. Just get on with it!!

back the manager

I thought Derek was joined by Ianis Hagi today. :)
Katic on loan a no brainer. We all want nsila to play from now on.
Rice, Curtis and Lovelace to start Sunday
He passed the ball with purpose, instead of just passing it for passing it sakes.
Opportunity appears in every crisis. It shows me the fear we have as an organization in letting go of control and getting the young boys minutes. Scrap the B team, send everyone out on loan and scout them. Anyone showing promise is in the squad next year and getting some minutes.
I'd keep Nsiala in the team from now on.
Crackin player , looks a bit like Camavinga at Madrid.
What’s the bet PC doesn’t even have him on the team sheet at the weekend?
@@Alexander-of7ny This is the exact game he should be starting, no questions asked.

Does Balogun have a have a son. 😅😂
And i think the goalie Kelly is playing great,.
Got to tear the cortes obligation up. Surely must have Clauses in this. Boy made out of weetabix
Proper still fragile

Is there talk of Yilmaz leaving?
It would be better to sell him while fit.
Phil STOP talking about the 'financial situation', focus on football.
Hamza will be the start of hopefully a successful trading model, need the board to hold their nerve and not accept early offers.
It's not about the time. It's the amount and not being push overs
Don’t need two new centre backs … one and nsiala with souttar Balogun and propper that is plenty. We need other positions filled as well and have a limited budget.
Leon king is not a good enough centre back. Sell him and bring in another.
He needs a loan.

We did have a great forward playing, Igamane. Danilo got injured and the other one is garbage.
Honestly Aberdeen were awful, ok Rangers won 3.0, it could have been 6, but a win is a win🎉
Means nothing, they're rank rotten & pish to watch, get him sacked

Lovelace rice Barron dessers and more players to get minutes v Fraserburgh in cup.
I hope we sell Dessers this window.
