Thank you so much! I am a little confused as to why you can't use the Kw formula to calculate how many OH ions there are in the new solution and then find the NaOH concentration from that. Could you please let me know when you have a chance.

if we dissolve a certain powder in sodium hydroxide and the NaOH is in excess does it's concentration change after the reaction between the powder and NaOH?
