It’s the middle of summer, 2:30 AM, you’re isolated from all your friends and family, you feel as if they are all against you so you decided to leave, u took your leave after dinner, you went to this old Border’s Bookstore that was closing, you called the number and ask for permission to explore it, they allow you to stay, so u go ahead and do it, but u tell the owner that ur gonna lock the front door again somehow when you’re in, this place looks like a nice place to get ur mind off things u decide to cover up all signs of outside with things u found around the building and you setup ur small but nice stereo there and then this song on loop all night and all day long, as it plays throughout the old frozen in time like library, u walk around and reflect on ur thoughts, luckily dis place had power still, of course u lay out somewhere to sleep at there at the library, you told em all at home that u don’t want to come back, things seemed unfair to u but this place made you feel at ease, u decide to stay for a week to see if anyone cares that you were gone for this long unlike usual, low and behold on Thursday, you check your phone and put it off airplane mode (u were ignoring everyone because u felt like they were doing the same to u) and u hav gotten tons of notifications of your family and friends wondering where u went, so you’ve realized they did care all along and now u are gonna go home tomorrow morning, u won’t ever forget this place you’ve resided at for a week. It was definitely guud at helping u mentally to take things off your mind. (Dis here was a fun story to type cuz idk, me currently I’m not rlly feeling all the best so this helps, I hope u all enjoy reading! If u are going through tough times, just know they won’t last forever.)
This song remindes me of my grandad and all my plans I have for the next year or so.... Including going to Vietnam... This song fills me with so much mixed emotions...
