Well, after Dayton, swinging by to the Howard Co hamfest this Sunday is kinda a bust. But for the area, it's not all that bad. I will be there Sunday but I'm 50/50 whether I'll sell or not. If I just come as a buyer, I'll get there around 7:45am. Will only take about an hour to get thru the place, maybe 7 or 8 rows on the ground with tailgaters. If I don't sell, I'll be sitting with a buddy for at least another hour or two at his table, so if you come by it shouldn't be too hard to run into us. Again, glad you had a great time at Dayton! Hi Scott, It must have been hard to decide what to buy there with so much stuff. I've never been to the Hamvention, it's a few hours south of us. I could easily spend 1k$ there. Was it super crowded? Did you attended any lectures or classes? Did you meet Bob Heil or Gordon West or any ham celebs? And did you have any good eats? Those plugs should be: Switcraft 2501F for VTVM test probe - Amphenol 80MC2M 2 pin for antenna jack. We were in Dayton in 1982, before I got my ticket. We were at Hara for another convention. One place that was fantastik was Wright Patterson AF Museum. We were there all day, very interesting. That's a must see in Dayton. Other than that, Dayton sux. 73, Don
Thanks for watching! I may have one of those plugs in my junk box, otherwise we have a few boat anchor lovers in the club that will help me. Hopefully I may even have some banana plugs in the basement as well ( if I can find them) thanks for telling me the names, it will help alot. Really had a great time walking around with John. He was looking for wooden knobs and one other thing and I was looking for a Heath kit O-11 scope to restore. May see if you want to part with yours some day. Luckily there are a couple of ham fests near me over the summer than I can check out.

Been to the museum before, really nice, almost went back again this year. i attended one forum on antennas, had two really good meals at a local family owned place and several at Bob Evans. It took us about 8 hours to drive there ( same for john but in the opposite direction)
Um willing to sell my Heathkit O-8 silly scope. I recapped it, and got a CRT. But it smoked, so may need resistors and other parts tested. There are a few original HV caps in there too. My eyesight made it hard to solder too. I have about 50+$ into it. I may horsetrade instead, we each pay the mailman. Think about what you might like to trade me for it? Don
