Any idea why this drive goes dormant with a rapid flashing light. I have it go twice, after the first time I brought it in to a shop(and paid $50) and they found nothing wrong with it. How do I get it out of hiding I cant get into seagate at all, so anyone with an answer please. I wish these drives were more reliable

No, this is not a networked drive. You could try something like the pogoplug though.
