I have always loved Hyner View. A good friend enjoyed hang gliding, but I am a terra firma girl. Great campsite. Thank you for taking me down memory lane, Dad.
There was a strand that got snagged in a tree, so I'd have to agree! The campsite was absolutely perfect, loved being so close to Hyner Run. Thanks for watching, Barry.
@@HikerDudeDad no need to thank us, I know all to well how it works. I’d love it if more people would help us UA-camrs move up farther so we can continue to do the things we love. You have great videos. So happy to help ❤️
@@sonplusone7059 I just noticed your current video is from Jacobsburg... That was my first stop yesterday! My hike was along the eastern edge. Good stuff!
That was a beautiful campsite and overlook. Looks gorgeous in the fall with the colors. October 19th is too early for snow. Not looking forward to winter
That view…🔥. Your campsite looked great! Did you sleep in your vehicle or use the hammock set up off the back? Should we be looking forward to a hang glider dude dad video in the future?
I had it in my head driving up that if there was a hang glider there, and could take a passenger, and offered.... that I would, as long as I could take the Insta360 cam, lol. In reality, even if that perfect storm happened, I can't say for sure that I'd have the stones to go! I used the hitch mount with the hammock and slept hanging off the back. I have 20F quilts, down booties, and a down hat. Also slept in my down coat. I was cozy! Thanks for watching, Kevin!
So the overlook is Hyner View State Park, but the campground is in Hyner Run State Park, a few miles away. The stream is Hyner Run, and does run through it. Thanks for watching!
That overlook was incredible. Love getting to see all these different state parks.
With my work yesterday and today, I've now visited 55 of the 124 state parks and will have videos through the end of December. Thanks for watching!
@@HikerDudeDad Wow, that is so impressive!

I can't imagine running down that rickety runway... And jumping off! Anytime, Kate, thanks for watching!
Wow that's really cool and absolutely beautiful place to see my friend. Keep it up and more vidz to come brother.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Great video. Loved your camp site looked like a nice place to wet a line

I subscribed, liked and commented. I really liked this video. Great job!
Thank you very much, Son Plus One! Those things all really make the channel thrive. Thank you for your time!

@@HikerDudeDad I live 8 min from there. I go there a lot because it’s close and peaceful. Love the meadow at the top in Spring and Summer.

I just got back from the Poconos. They had a few inches last week, and Camelback is making snow... Winter is coming!!!
1300’ is pretty high up. For comparison the US Steel building in Pittsburgh is 841’ tall.

Is that stream right in the campground? Looks like it would be good trout fishing! I’ve been to the overlook, but never camped there.
