    Hi Elle,
    I recently had a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. Colonoscopy came back great. Just some minor diverticulitis that was nothing to worry about but my esophagus is inflamed. They want me to come in and talk about getting on a prescription. I’m like you and want to do things natural if I can. My functional medicine Dr. retired and moved away. I haven’t been able to find one in my area since. He was so good! Cured me of many things and helped me get through my breast cancer treatment with supplements. I sure don’t want to go on another prescription but I know they will tell me I need to😢 Only thing I take now is thyroid medication and lots of supplements ❤

      @@cmkarma5554 I took a LOT of betaine with each meal for probably almost two years. Then, all of a sudden my stomach started producing acid and I could cut back. Now, I only need maybe one every two or three days. The best advice I can give is listen to your body. If you feel it is helping, keep taking it. If you feel you have too much acid (warming in the belly) cut back on it. ♥

    Hello Elle,
    I have two quick questions. I am trying to heal from some of the same autoimmune diseases you had. Are you basically saying you focused on gut health primarily? And you didn’t need to do any testing to find the root cause?

    • @ElleIsForLiving
      @ElleIsForLiving  7 днів тому +1

      First, figure out the root cause. I know this is difficult but think back to when your symptoms started and what might have happened at that time - diet, mildew, chemical, vaccine or mold exposure, tick bite or other insect bite, etc. This could help you in avoiding it (ie., improving/changing your diet) as well as understanding how to treat it. Then focus on healing your gut by avoiding anything that causes problems and eating only whole foods. I hope that this helps. ♥

    • @shaediggs6055
      @shaediggs6055 7 днів тому

      Okay this makes a lot of sense. Once I figure out the root cause which is unfortunately v. Induced, then I should focus on toxins I’m assuming. I’ll continue to research and do what I can to heal. Thank you so much Elle for responding. You are awesome!

    • @ElleIsForLiving
      @ElleIsForLiving  7 днів тому +1

      @@shaediggs6055 For v induced, I would do everything I said (whole foods, sunshine, avoid stress, get outside, good sleep) and I would personally try taking takesumi (charcoal) and NAC (not together as charcoal will whisk away the NAC - defeating the purpose). I will pray for your healing. ♥
