- Japanese Billions $ 6th Generation Fighter Jet Shocked Russia and China
Lethal, intelligent, and out to prove a point, Japan’s sixth-generation F-X fighter is all it takes to make Japan a world power again. A fighter with almost no interest in multirole capabilities - after all, Japan already has $23 billion worth of American multirole F-35 Lightning IIs, the F-X is instead born out of the need for an air superiority fighter. So superior, in fact, that both the US and the UK could be making plans to join the program and form a united sixth-generation program.
Way to go Japan! Some of the hardest working people I ever had the pleasure of working with.
My 6 years in Japan taught me something about Japanese people. If they put their back into something, they will absolutely achieve it.
The Japanese have engineering prowess, that few nations can match. Glad they are a western ally. CCP must be shitting their boxers!
So what? Does it mean if they want to start another world war, they can ??
@@darrentai4231 I don't think Japan has such an agenda. Besides, you have Russia and China for that role.
absolutely!
And that is also true of the Americans in World War 2.
All 6th gen fighter sound impressive on paper, unless it make to production, it means nothing.
Tempest has 4 countries including Japan now out of all 6th gen it's got the highest chance to make it
When starts WW3?
Yeah it sounds cool, but if you take a close look at the thumbnail it doesn't look that scary.
@@henkholdingastate A few months ago, when Russia invaded Ukraine
Yep 6th gen fighters sound impressive, just like Battleship Row did on December 6, 1941. Orbit is the new high ground, these super expensive manned fighters will go the way of the cavalry charge during the opening stages of WW1. Ukraine is showing a few guys with drones can be quite an effective "Air Force".
In the philippines we already have the FX since the 90's. it also came from Japan. It's the immortal Toyota Tamaraw FX. and it will be passed on the 6th generation of the owner's family.
Ha ha ha.
😂🤣🤣🤣🤣Tamaraw FX..Philippines had the most advance laser guided communication that will explode disrupt enemies mind.. the MARITISES in the world. US has Karen..
Haha!
OhLoL hahahaha
And its diesel powered 😆
its called Gundam, Russians and Chinese absolutely love them!
USA Japan and UK ❤️
United in protecting the free world and anyone who wants to be apart of it, glad to have Japan on our side for this bout of global conflict
Uk & Japan - puppet of us
@Kodek Nope! It's colony and it's masters.
😂😂😂
Shesh now comments is the battefield.
If it is made by Japanese then, its all about quality
can anyone explain me why Japanese 5th generation jet fighter Shinshin is a failure?
Correct
Plot Twist: it transforms into a Gundam.
*cough* Variable Fighter, let's not even forget the Macross series also have drones and unmanned fighters.
Babaloid mode
Go japan go go go !!!
Have to admit that Japanese make super cool jet fighter CGi ....
when Japanese F2 is a copycat of US F16, and Shinsihin is failure...
Japanese are intelligent people they can achieve this project soon as possible
Italy & Japan have now signed to join the UK & the Tempest program
Italy! This thing will ooze style! Leonardo will make it deadly.
I am only imagining pearl harbour II :)
Good... Japan
Japan has a secret touch in manufacturing
Japan kicks butt!!!
with their copycat F2 and failed Shinshin jet fighter,
This thing definitely has twin turbos and comes with NOS... I bet it has thrust vectoring so that it can drift.. Tokyo style
Is it just me or does that look a hell of a lot like the YF-23 that the USAF passed on for the F-22?
It's not just you. The Black Widow was a major inspiration for the Japanese design.
Quite the collaboration
Japan kick off the development of 6th generation fighter Jets, when the raptor was ban from being exported even to the USA allied countries!
Go on Japan one country that will alway surprise use all
We need this in Ace Combat 8
6th gen fighter incredible
Japanese FX has some of that Black Widow II DNA in it. Why the US Navy didn't go with the YF-23 and it's amazing fuel economy/stealth capabilities? Baffles me still
Politics and also it was not as agile as the F22 cause it lacked thrust vectoring. Both of these is the reason why the F-22 was chosen.
@@michaelmichaelagnew8503 Oh, I am well versed as to why the USAF didn't go w/the YF-23. What baffles me is the Navy's decision to have passed her up. No thrust vectoring? No problem, because no IR signature&even without thrust vectoring. The YF-23's V-Tail almost allowed for the same high angle of attack as the F-22 without it.
@@shankshoanatlprez4453 wasn't it something about them not trusting them to get the plane done on time and under budget because of major cost overruns on their other projects. Also they didn't believe they could produce the quantity they needed?
@@michaelmichaelagnew8503 mm
@@ameritoast5174 Yep, it came to the politics of spreading out contracts in the end and how NG had their hands full with the B-2 program Also the Navy now uses cruise and ballistic missiles for their long range strike capability in contested areas. The cost involved in buying and maintaining the YF-23 (which in truth would just become obsolete in less than 10 years after ground based radar and orbital systems were upgraded) to replace the F-14 was absorbed into better radar and targeting systems for carrier strike group based defenses. Though yes with an increased range the YF-23 would have been a good replacement to keep the carriers further from land.
Though I'm sure it came down to NG insistence it being called the Black Widow II instead of another catch "cat" name like Stealthcat!
These are all the features in F22 raptor.
I know i have said this before, but you were a huge inspiration for me to start my channel. Keep up the good work!.
in reality, Japan couldn't eveb finished its 5th generation jet fighter Shinshin,
23 billion dollars for its F 35's... No wonder: Japan paid its Lightning II's almost twice as expensive as a number of other countries, like my own one, Belgium.
The japenese version can turn into star scream..
Why a Jet fighter Japan? Just send a few suppaaa sayajins if you're in need!
Stop Putting a title like "Russia and china are shock" because they are not the type of country to get shocked by this.
W
Really why china needed to copy the stealthy fighters of U.S. like F35 , f22. If they not shock this new 6th generation.. but maybe they copy again this dude.
Not even US has it! Japan should give to US!
LOL if Japan has this USA for sure has something way way better
Once Japan starts producing fighter jets, Lockheed Martin's days will be numbered.
Man Japan will always be the best, even better than what USA can do, because they are superior at making fighters more than what USA can do. I would choose Japan over USA if Japan would do more of these create better aircraft than ever before. Yes, it will be expensive, but it would be worse for Japan to come to rise.
Stealth. Self repairing skin. Offensive and defense lasers. Geez, since it’s Japan, can it turn into a mecha?
If they don't die from population loss , and the new gens take the seat. Then it might happen
Japan and German are not allowed to build any offensive weapon, this was signed on treaty agreement by them when they surrender after WWII. According to the treaty, if they violate the rules, anyone is allowed to attack them.
Japan is allowed to build Shinshin jet fighter, but still failed,
Germany has already build Eurofighter Typhoon with UK, Spain ans Italy,
Those days were over long time ago, they can now build if they want
Fabulous plane, I can’t blame the Japanese wanting to re-arm with the aggressor China on their doorsteps. Most of the world wants peace except Russia, Iran and the Chinese!
Eisenhower's nightmares are coming true in spades.
Well, we got Maverick on our side
Germany, increasing its military budget by 100 billion dollars.
Japan investing in revolutionary new, six generation fighter jet technology.
Has anyone checked on the Italian’s lately?
I love the new weapons they are making to end us all
Did i just heard "global power projection"? So that is the purpose, continue its hegemony, now with japan as an ally.
The jet the US should gone with
What are the transformation capabilities on this bad boy? And don't tell me you don't know!
Is anybody really surprised at the Japanese excelled at something to do with high tech?
They haven't done anything but create a mockup.
One thing about Japan...everything Japanese I ever bought still works great 👍 👌
smart would be also to consider a jet wich has absolutly no tec in it just all mech since nukes love to delet micro chips............ thank me later
Great! Now the world knows what it has already! So much for secrecy.
"They didn't sell us so we will build our own"
They should call it the "Zero II" just to watch the Chinese people's heads explode.
The article says that 46 billion dollars is equivalent to the entire defense budget of Japan. Today, a publication of the U S military stated that the US total cash contribution to the government of Ukraine is also $46,000,000,000. I must say, and speaking as an American,
WE ARE STUPID.
Chicago luv Japan
you have to change the title: now it's Japanese, Italian and English the "Tempest"
From tomorrow I will start building a fighter that looks like the F22 Raptors and other designs of the same with a little rangoli type add on... and it will be 7th Gen
nice idea, Indians are a step ahead of you. Their magical thinking skills are the best in the universe. 🤣
Well done Japan technology is everything
Wake me up when it's available. It will be a long nap.
Why every next generation fighter jet looks so similar to F22 and F35
Because the f 22 is not a 5th gen fighter but a prototype 6th gen fighter.
All jets look similar
u were there in front of China and Russia to see how shocked they are :))?
Japan is gonna build a beast. It'll be a modern-day Zero.
Japan can design and manufacture some of most advanced Weapons system.
Why don't they then?
until its in production.. i wont count on it.. programs can get cancelled or over-budget.. same as the 5th generation fighter program, JSF... cost so much and delayed for so long due to problems.
Cant wait to see Japan flying the superior fighter once again !
uk.canada.france. japan❤
Cool looking Bird
So Japan is basically adapting yf23 except for making changes to optimize production model?
It's not a bad call. With strong prohibition against exporting the F-22, the plane that almost edged it out looks like a good place to start.
Send to Ukraine 🇺🇦
Ohhh that plane looks very similar to the yf23...... which should of been our 5th gen/6th gen adaptation
Look like a raptor..right down to the bomb doors 😂😂😂...
I heard they took inspiration because Japan saw the potential of the yf23
@@pauloazuela8488 Northrup already in talks to build Japan a fighter to replace their F2s. It will most likely use a modernized version of the YF23s semi tailless design and unique engine exhaust system. They are no doubt using what they've learned from YF23 to build a freaky competitor for NGAD program. I would imagine it to have almost no tail if any at all or a tail that it can completely fold flat when not needed to increase stealth from side aspects.
When will japan make Mobile Suit (Gundam) ? hahaha
Love Russia Japan
Britain, Sweden and Japan should forget about a joint sixth generation pure fighter and start NOW on a seventh generation pure long range fighter utilising drones for attack duties and for this they must think totally outside the box and develop an engine that doesn’t require afterburners to reach at least Mach 3.
You never want to deny the Swedes a job in building the next fighter plane. They have been ahead of the game for a long time.
Well heck skip seven and go to the 10th generation fighter! Why 10 and not 8 or 9? Because seven eight nine!!
why do they try to build 6th generation fighters when they could build 2, or 3rd generation AIR DEFENCE?
@Kitty Cat you do realize that the Uk and Japan are us allies ? Or your just a 🇨🇳 bot ?
You cant just skip a gen lol.
At this rate it’ll be 2050 before we see anything 6th gen and the world will have ended.
I like the shape !
Oh. GOD YES!!!! LOVE IT!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
"Shocked Russia and China"... as a Russian I hear this for the first time
Ever heard of a " Special Operation" 😉
Your government keeps sooo much information from you, you´d be not just shocked, but paralyzed, if you´d ever found out.
Japan has already failed their Shinshin jet fighter, it don't shock us, but make us laugh,
@@olivierfaber8478 Japanese F2 is a copycat of US F16 and Japanese Shinshin is a failure,
You guys can barely handle Ukraine, infact the Ukrainian counter offensive is already putting Russia's army to its knees. Japan is much stronger than Ukraine so I would expect Moscow to speak Japanese in a 2nd Russo-Japanese war 😂
It's time the UK and Japan cut those apron strings with the US. They both have a proud history of producing fantastic aircraft and are more than capable of producing a 6th generation aeroplane without the US. The US is always reluctant to share technology, even with its closest allies.
US reluctant to share technology? Look around you right now lol
@@oldpain7625 There are certain technologies that the Yanks keep to themselves and will not share with their closest allies, that is common knowledge. It's quite a different thing from selling arms which is what you seem to be eluding to. Also what they sell is seldom to the same standard as what the Yanks have.
@@steventommy628 Thanks for the well written response. Makes UA-cam a little better. 🙂
I know about certain restrictions when it comes to defense, stealth technology in particular. Japan is sort of a special case. But I can't think of any other major examples of this. There's a lot to gain from exporting advanced technologies, and not just monetarily.
Looking at the technologies used by Japan, the UK, the US, and many allies, there's a whole lot of examples of us sharing technology quite liberally and intentionally. We spend a fortune as taxpayers on defense and R&D, and have a collective understanding as a people that if anything were to ever happen to Japan or the UK, and our help was needed and requested, we'd drop everything and get there as quick as possible.
I don't think the US can be faulted on this one. The UK and Japan are our direct peers, and already make incredible technologies on their own, and have been doing so since way before we existed. Both nations are currently developing 6th generation fighters independently.
I want to see the UK and Japan make as amazing stuff as there is possible! It strengthens all of us, and technology is freaking cool!
This is literally a reskinned Northrop YF-23. That and word is its Lockheed Martin that's helping Japan step by step to develop its upcoming stealth fighter. Even the Mitsubishi built F-2 is a derivative of the F-16 Viper. You don't just make a competent and compelling 5th or 6th generation fighter out of nothing. That's why it took a ton of R&D, over a decade and the financial backing of 4 countries to make a very competitive 4th gen fighter like the Typhoon. I doubt Japan has anywhere near the capital and research staff to out do Germany, Italy, Great Britain and Spain combined.
@@oldpain7625 So why not export the F-22 ?
Stealth is not invisible to radar. It is low observable, that is; it enable you to reduce the time and distance to detection and increase the difficulty in tracking if detected. Thus making the aircraft hard to kill.
Stealth makes you hard to detect, if detected hard to track, if track difficult to kill.
And the FX can transform when it is in trouble.
Dang, you spilled the secret sauce Alisson!
And Germany also increasing 100 billion buget
However wingless for the US is more stealthier still than the UK or Japan both combined.
However I have put them is to deep perspective
On Japan's side, they are more looking like their former ally Germany in WWII. as you said from the top V of the video .
US is inspired as Japan and they'll definitely achieve it.
India should join!
YF-23 The Japanese are not doing a Russian/Chinese total copycat.
Finally they put Playstation and Macross' engineers into work for this;)
Shocked chaina and Russia WOW!!!!!!
How did you know anyone was "shocked"? Did u take a survey?
With AutoCAD and 3dsmax me too i can shock Russian, USA , else did you have something real to show
All these 5th,6th,7th gen and so on will luckily be decommissioned before being in a dogfight or actually do what they were made , coz at some point not one will be able to confidently attack or defend from one another
Or even afford a single aircraft.
The next major wars which will probably be with China and North Korea will be fought by mostly 4th gen and 5th gen
Japan is the one country that is able to build a 6th gen fighter TODAY!
Not true ,because they couldn't build the 5th generation
Japan still can't make a fighter jet engine on its own. All Japanese aircrafts use US/UK made engines.
Waiting Japan build Gundam as their War Machine.
Japan has been stuck at 5 trillion FDP since 1995!
Yeah the Japanese are not a people you should underestimate.
Drawing War has begun!
mantap👍
The aircraft is great new technology
Long live Japan, USA and UK.
Yep, those computer animations will shock them every time
Everything discussed was written about by Dale Brown...20 years ago. Somebody paid attention.
Started saying Japan. Talks about US and UK.
A video about an international topic should also use SI units...
Let’s just wait and see if they build it before getting all excited. Maybe they can also developers tech to make the titles of the videos in proper English
Nothing but the title shocked me.
But does the world know about Japan's trillion $ Gundams?
Not to mention their Macorss Ghost Fighter drones!
