I like how f1tv cuts to liam lawson every time ricciardo has a problem
And people say DTS is the only dramatic one😂😂
~ ain't a complain
The camera man in this race did a terrible job in this race
Liam strategically chilling while Danny Ric self-destructs. Yuki is on fire, Checo finally looking like he is in the right place.
Grab some popcorn and watch with interest ..
or that one funny and ominous shot of daniel post-crash in the paddock and liam is literally behind him lurking watching over his shoulder. couldn’t help but laugh at that one
Oh boy, what's going on with Williams lately, instead of fighting in the midfield on track, so far they're leading in the Destructors Championship in only the 4th round of the season.
The car seems capable of points but it's either extremely skittish or the drivers are just incredibly unlucky
@@LawVSor, you know, he's just not all that good?
@@ArgoshI don’t remember Logan being in the barriers
@@Takingyoutojail he's almost managed it despite driving significantly slower than Albon. No points are no points.
Albon had pace with soft tyres to pass the RB Visa cars struggling with mediums... Now they need new chassis and all new parts destroyed in crashes...
Yuki slowly putting the nails down on Ricardo casket..
Nah, he's just handing Danny Ric the hammer and the nails. Danny Rics doing all the work.
And Ricardo is quickly driving the nails home by binning it
Yuki has some culpability in the mess at the start..... one of the worst starts I've seen, he was road furniture for his teammate to go around.
@TheSlowoldman Still Riccardo fumbled, for a veteran driver to lack awareness and run into another driver is not a good look.
@@MVRacer227 I agree, I'm a huge Danny Ricc fan and it's been hard to watch him struggle (McLaren and here). He's definitely lost his mojo. I still say Yuki did Danny know favors with that start, put him in a tight spot. He looked at Stroll and reacted to him (it showed on the replays in the race broadcast) but he should have just as quickly looked to his right to clear that side also.
Yuki stocks are paying well 📈📈📈
Not that redbull cares....unfortunately
Honda will want him in 2026...
@@CamPerry93too bad, their loss
@@gerardcrabb4556hopefully in Aston, some podiums maybe 👀
@@chrismaina1830They don't lose anything
After that Williams terrible pit stop, I think Logan was pushing extra hard to catch up and lost it. Good overtakes on track for him when he needed to do it, and he was holding off Yuki with older tires until the bad pit stop.
Yup then they tried to swap to the mediums and that messed everything. They tried to do to much.
i'm really happy checo "found his place". in the absolute nicest way possible. him accepting the second driver role and just driving his own race seems to be doing wonders. he's doing everything red bull has ever asked of him, and at this rate, he's just gonna get another contract.
He can take satisfaction in being close to Max at points.
Horner kept telling him to stop trying to "be Max" (my description), when he was having that run of qualifications to cringe at. Be himself and he'd be faster! And he's showing that is true. I'm no Horner fan but I will say he's been Checo's best supporter since he joined. I'm really glad he's seeming to have fallen in love with the sport again.
Sargeant for a moment had a shot at a point today but his pitstop really screwed him
Yeah. Threw him for a loop and he wound up driving angry.
Pit crew might be exhausted from all the OT due to constantly repairing and replacing parts. Every. Damned. Race. Nearly every session!
It also didn't help they pulled him off the one stop when he looked like he could do it.
Lance Strolls radio was the best moment in the race
His two overtakes were pretty good against Bottas and “Imma cause you to crash” Magnussen
Yes! Squealing like a little girl that saw a lizard!
fr, my personal highlight
Had Sargeant not lock up and explore the gravel in the race, I would've voted him for DOTD
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Poor Logan. I feel like he's falling victim to a "take one for the team" attitude and the team js going "oh good, he'll just take it."
He's a good sport.
@@LawVS as an american, I'd like to see him sitting for Andretti. That would be a power combo most americans would like. Even his name hits American ears nicely

i have no doubts that once albon got shunted into wall logan was explicitly told during red flag finish last dont damage the car no matter what
I was honestly rooting for Sargent I didn’t expect points but I thought he was capable of p12 and when he went off I was genuinely sad
THANK YOU for giving Logan some credit. I feel like im the only person who noticed him up in P11 at one point
Not only was he up in 11th but he was slowly chipping away at the gap to 10th at one point, it looked as if he was on to fight for that last point
That was because he did one less pit stop ffs...
Then he had a bad pitstop and then said “F it” and yeeted himself off the track, ensuring last place. So much talent. Give him a seat at Merceds.

Daniel doing a fabulous job demonstrating his potential.
I don't think Yuki Tsunoda's change in attitude happened in a vacuum, I think he was given quite a dressing down after Bahrain and told he needs to change his ways or else.
So happy for Carlos Sainz, once again finishing ahead of Charles Leclerc.
Yeah they probably dressed him down hard and he took it personally. He made a promise to himself to do everything he could to destroy Danny.
@@captainross4706first part I can believe, second part reads like fan-fic dude.

@@captainross4706 he certainly isn't having a good time of it.
Just leave the creative writing out of it though, Yuki is doing well because he works hard.
Lol, you know Honda is pulling out immediately if Yuki is out. There is a clause that they have to keep him in any of their teams. I don't think they threatened Yuki in any way, but just talked with him like with a normal human and explained that he can't do that
Agree about Sargent. At one point, he looked as close to getting points as Williams has at any point this year.
Logan was faster than alpine. He passed them multiple time
Sergeant is given so much unnecessary hate when his teammates is doing just as bad and no one says anything about him
We all know that any weight differences of greater than 6.5 grams (i.e. that of an average appendix) are significant in F1.
Albon wrecking both chassis in 2 weeks.
But only the first one was his fault, second on was 100% on DR
I agree with you, Logan did really good with what he was given today.
I think only me and Law are the one who say Sargeant isn't as bad as everyone think he is. Congrats on 50K by the way❤
Make that 3
Pvieuw, luckily you too.

I am very happy about this race. Just shows that Charles does have a race IQ as well as amazing tire management. Charles was actually the person to do push/suggest for the one stop if you look at the team radio. Anyways great race for Ferrari and Carlos
Sargeant should deserve a pseudo-W for Suzuka. Sure, he crashed and overshot but he did a few good overtakes and had a great race. Got me cheering for him and got my heart broken when he went to the gravel.
Though my favorite moment was Tsunoda's pitstop. Outstanding coordination from the team and Tsunoda's praise only made it better.
Great recap and reflection, as per usual. I really like the way you present your opinions in your videos, there seems to be genuine compassion and benevolent realism regardless of which team you're talking about. Keep up the great work mate!
Super awkward Lawson was sitting in Ricardos garage... Why wouldn't they put him in idk in the other side of the garage? Lol.
Daniel may have been unlucky but unfortunately the incident was 100% on him. Just a rookie mistake which cost him dearly.
Ted Kravitz after the race was talking about a possible reprimand for Albon for the incident (before the decision was made). The stewards said if it wasn't lap one it would have been a different decision but I can't see how Albon could be blamed at all for Daniel not looking. Right at the start with all the cars bunched together it was 100% on Daniel to watch.
@@Zoom15000 lol youre clearly high, albon wouldve done himself a favor by not being there on the outside. What the hell was he hoping to do there, he wasnt even half level with him and Daniel had stroll coming up on the inside....the hell are you on about? You wanted him to cede to Stroll on the inside and albon which was behind him on the outside of the corner????? You wanted Daniel to just disappear? lol get a grip dude
@@1greenMitsi it's not about ceding to anyone. Daniel moved to the right which meant Stroll would be sitting inside where Daniel was. Daniel could have stayed in the centre where he originally was. It was the start of the race and there were cars everywhere - you have to be aware of who is on either side of you.
@@Zoom15000 dude, how can you be serious suggesting 3 cars can take that corner together. How many weeks have you been watching Formula 1?
That corner was 60% Stroll 40% ric. Albon had 0% chance of taking that corner from ric, thats the reality. He stuck his nose in on the outside in no mans land and ended up in the barrier, ric spun out because he was literally on the inside and half a body length infront of albon
Please for the love of God can we get someone else in the second Aston? Stroll has had his chance and we all know the only reason he still has a drive is because of daddy dearest.
need yuki in that car more than i need oxygen
@@m1st3rd0ct0r he will be there...Honda will put him in that seat, but there's one problem, I heard Daddy Stroll has a way of bargaining, and that might be a problem for Yuki
No, they're going to make the car more suitable for Stroll
They're going to install raspberry flavoured windows
I find it hard to appreciate mega rich greedy humans or those that react in jealous blathering...
I don't understand why Fernando doesn't have a penalty for slowing down to keep Piastri in DRS range 😂
When he Began the DRS game, Oscar was 1.2-1.6s behind. And it wasn't that Alonso slammed on brakes abruptly. He slowed down gradually bit by bit from 49th lap onwards. Something like that can't catch stewards attention
@@Urgrannytranny i was being funny not serious hence the smiley
This weekend was so frustrating for Williams. Had Logan gotten a good pitstop, he would have been in contention for points.
This was possibly one of the best 'Post race Press Conferences' ever. It's almost impossible to believe how honest & 'down to earth' these driver's are.
Checo's comment about his father currently being in the most dangerous line of business was classic.
Thanks for sharing. 😊😊😊😊

Was so happy for Yuki and Carlos. They really put on a show and drove well. Yuki's passes were beautiful. Fernando "Salty" Alonso dragged that car kicking and screaming. Completely agree on Logan. He was driving like a man possessed early. Mercedes better get on their horses because no one is going to be waiting for them. I'm a Lewis fan, and can say his annoyance is coming through. As we age, time seems to shorten. He'll get through it as the season goes. Great vid Law! You've come a LONG way, and have so much more to go!
Over 50k subs! Well done that man!
Logan made some overtakes stick today in a really impactful way, it's just a shame that he couldn't have finished at least p13 or above
Well I believe we are one step closer to getting Liam in that car. Excellent Job Yuki!!!!! Go RedBull
In the airport after my first F1 race in person. It’s so much better this way. If you have the means, it’s worth the trip!
Thanks for your insight💪
Wrong about Ricc tbh I don’t think that crash has any blame on Alex
Fully agree. You could argue there was some bad luck involved, but in terms of blame, it was 100% on Daniel.
Albon wasn't going to make that pass. He certainly was in a place that should have been relatively safe though. You kind of assume that the "Best Drivers In The World" look at their mirrors.
3 wide at Suzuka except the main straight is a guaranteed sketchfest, so I would also give a 5-10%.
@@dlewis9760for starters daniel was following the racing line also there was absolutely 0 chance Albon was going to make that move even if he had room to do it so he should of backed off. Also Albon was in riccardos blind spot so he wouldn’t have seen him anyway. Listen to what max said.
logan was up to 11th and then got a bad pit stop and then beached it it all kinda fell apart but at least he had something going.
You should mention that Albon's crash was caused by Ric being an idiot - pretty important info that.
Not like Albons care placement was mega big brain
That's a huge reach just to try and knock Ric, it was a racing incident, sh!t happens.
Albon went for a space that wasn't there.
If Daniel had kept optimal line, Yuki would have rammed him, so he let Yuki pass(like a wild man). Ric never had a chance after that, cause now Occon wanted to pass like Yuki..
I'm early for once! Thanks for the video once again!
Did you notice how friendly Max and Carlos have been lately? Really makes you wonder.. maybe?🤞🏻
Also Dr Helnutz had good things to say about Carlos. Carlos would definitely be a step up from Perez. Yuki and Daniel are not
That wont happen my guy
Me too!
When Yuki combines all the elements in the right way he looks excellent. Same for Checo.
Hard to see where this all lands re the driver market by season’s end.
Now I know why I became Mercedes fan recently... I am a sucker for slowburns 😂
I think Carlos was going to pass Charl anyway given much fresher tyres...
If sauber improves the same amount next race in terms of pit stop time they will have a .4 pit stop
Thank you for giving Logan the credit he deserved this weekend
12:49 they aren’t understanding the car…the temp just cooled to a point where the car works. The W15 does not like heat and they cannot figure out why.
Despite not scoring points, this was a very optimistic race as a haas fan. Mag was definitely weaving lol
Somehow Ferrari masterplan work this time
And worked brilliantly, also showing up McLaren.
It is hard being a Ricciardo fan this season :(
Valteri Bottas deserves so much credit. He is a diamond in the ruff.
i just subbed because i love how mans just climbs up his ladder and proceeds to teach me some f1
I feel like McLaren need to let Lando loose, a little bit. Since last year, while their car keeps performing better and better, their stratagy has been getting more and more defensive. They need to let Lando "cook" a little bit and pass the cars ahead of him on track instead of gambling with weird stratagies. What are your thoughts?
I totally agree with Logan, the fact he has only messed up at this circuit this year with the immense pressure to not put it in the wall and possibly damaging their only chassis. That shows his improvement.
Haas fan here. Thank you Alpine and Kick for being worse than us. We are happy we can finish and get near at the points.
Do you watch Jarno Opmeer or since when you use simply to the fakt that often xD? Love your vids
LAWVS PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO OF YUKI AND HOW HE HAS MADE THAT SECOND RB SEAT A POISONED CHALLICE
I guarantee you this video is amazing
Even though i havent watched it yet
P10 is like a class B P1 right now. Feels like LMP 1/2 or gt in terms of having a slight mix but often being separated. Realistically, Tsunoda proved himself as "best of the rest" of the rest. As strange as that sounds.
I was very happy with Logan. I'm just watching on a UA-cam watch along, so I didnt know he had a bad pitstop. They never said he went off until later as well. Or I missed it. But he was making moves until the pitstop. Sounds like he was pushing hard and lost it. He's gaving a rough go this year. Hopefully thungs improve for him.
I have to add that Ferrari strategy was perfect. They did add preassure with Sainz on Checo and put Lecler in front with a different strategy. Checo drove a perfect race but that's not always the case and Ferrari gave it everything with this split strategy to put on any preassure they could. The Ferrari strategists really got their act together this time.
This is slowly becoming my favourite F1 channel
You could hear the absolute frustration in bottas the rest of the race when he dropped from multiple spots during the final pitstop. And what made it worse is he was still stuck behind magnussen who unlike yuki stroll Sargent and the Alpines, was too fast to overtake in the drs zone. This is probably the most frustrated i have ever heard bottas post race
After qualifying Ricciardo said something like " p11, so I'll be into the points quite quickly"
I meant to put a tenner on him crashing out on the first lap.
The only record he's going to break is Grosjean's record of outstaying your welcome in F1
Leclerc didn't suffer from team orders (having Sainz let through as you mentioned) they were told to fight for position, Sainz just had fresher tyres and was able to blast past him.
I agree on Sargent. He raced like a professional. Good clean passes... As far as Sainz is concerned, Carlos is doing exactly what he should be doing. Make Ferrari regret their decision... George Russell looked better than Lewis today... The difference between Fernando and Lance can be summed up in one word.... Talent... Sorry Daniel. It's time to do something different... I feel bad for Williams. If it was raining rose peddles, they would get hit by a brick.
Your dump on Albon is proportional to your sympathy for the wanker team principal. As much as I like (still) DannyRic, this crash was 300% on him. Wanker Excel Williams is destroying Albon's reputation by having Albon OVER-drive the car. They built yet another poorly balanced lead-sled w/o downforce. Imagine what will happen to the young Kimi if he does drive a Wanker Excel Williams. I was never a fan of Logan, but considering the situation, he seems to be the victim of the team.
Dude.. chill out, he's not doing anything to you personally, is he?
@@phillydelphia8760 No anger, just alpha male talk w/o emotikons
@@utube321piotr you're seriously saying that was some unemotional "alpha male talk"?
Never mind use of emoticons.
C'mon man.
Ever since Checo stopped inventing with the setup for this year and just adapting his style to the setup max uses, unlike last year where he fiddled to make it comfortable to his own style. Id wonder why he just didn't do that from the start since clearly he can. The qualifying layering I saw of them, max brakes early and is faster to the pedal on exit, while checo breaks later and ends up later to the pedal, he can be quite close even though he's sacrificing his exit speed and is slower on the straights because of it.
Because he's been driving with a specific style for like 10 years maybe? Changing your driving style is not easy, even if the results are better that doesn't mean he's driving at his full capacity, an example of not being able to adapt is Kimi, ever since the tyre change he struggled a lot to change his drive style, he never did by the way, and in Checo's case, because the Red bull team is just all about Max, it is obvious he won't have a car suited for his needs, so he has to adapt and hope one day can contest for a championship, but at this point, even if he never gets it, I'm sure Checo will be remembered as a great driver nonetheless.
@@alanalexis19 Oh I know, the car is built around being the fastest/towards max instead of checo but the fact he can handle it, just wish he realized he could alot sooner
there’s so many talented drivers that could be on the grid for 2025, it’s just insulting that Strolls still on the grid
How so? I mean without his dad's cash, force india would've gone into administration years ago.
Those talented drivers are welcome to come in with their dads that will bail out bankrupt teams and then completely rebuild them for their sons, nobody's holding them back.

8:20 I knew you will do that ))
In Japan, it was good to see that Checo applied Max's approach to the race. After pit stops, he sacrificed a little tire life to regain P2 quickly, then he paced the race to get the maximum out of his tires. Well done Checo.

Can not wait until the silly season starts, I think that Sainz will sign with RedBull, Lawson will replace Daniel, Vettel to Mercedes, and Kimi to Williams to replace Logan. I think we will see a total revap in Sauber and Haas.
18:06 Blaming alex? If you watch again, DR had to make corrections, his car was wobbling with no grip- the door clearly opened. As a racer, he went for it- textbook racing. It is clearly DR fault for not watching both mirrors. Then followed up with Alex stock is dropping.... your takes have been poor lately.
Yuki sings praises when he’s doing well… and the when he falls apart curses the team like a 2 years old when he’s doing bad.. trust me that will come at some point point this season.
Let's get Liam intl that seat already! I love Riccardo as much as the next person, but you have to make way to the young talents. Liam has shown he's more than worthy
Lewis saying should I let George passed when he had been holding him up for over ten laps hence bottling his strategy was beyond pitty
It's terrible for any team to have to deal with so many crashed cars in the first 4 races. This is not maintainable for Williams. If they can, that means they are spending less on the car than they should.
Williams' chassis issue, kick sauber's wheel nut and pit stops, the alpine being a tractor.
Remember when f1 management said andretti "would not be competitive"? Seems to me half the grid isnt competitive either

tbf to Albon, the first lap crash was 100% on DR. No penalty is needed as it was a racing incident but still he was the reason why it happened.
You are extremely nice to a pay driver that has no business on the grid. Ban pay drivers. Too much talent out there not getting a chance.
Ouch the pain from that first lap incident between Daniel and Alex is still stinging especially as an Albon fan. I am glad that the FIA have deemed it a racing incident but thats tough for both drivers.
Even though Alex is having a bit of a rough season so far, I think he should be safe at Williams for next season. He has a contract for 2025 and the team seem to really rally around him.
