Jarvis is an alien for sure, but when it comes to show, teach and communicate , you are the E.T. of enduro ;)

Gravis is a beast but I've always thought he wasn't so great at teaching

@@KoltFin agree. Super nice guy, but a bit introverted, , and lots of guys come to see him make the show, or mainly meet the idol.... Being a pedagogue is another process, whatever the skills level ;) . Language and way to communicate come first...

I have handguards, larger tank and 'sort of' a seat for my trials bike, when set up this way I am quite happy to 'slowly' trail ride relatively difficult single track solo. This really opens up my opportunity to explore local trails after work without the worry of losing my full size bike off a side hill when solo or trying to find someone with a matching schedule......

As long as you are enjoying your rides that’s all that matters! 👍

Hey, I'm one of those that bought a trials bike and never really used it. I just ride my dirt bike like a trials bike. Not enough time for family, full time job, dirt bike, mtn bike, and trials.
So off the trails bike goes.
Your slow speed control on the stream bed obstacles is impressive. I could do 1/2 the obstacles but in a space that is twice as large. Must work on balance and slow speed skills.

    • @IRCTireUSAMoto
      @IRCTireUSAMoto  2 роки тому +1

I totally understand that! This is a great way to work that slow speed balance and control. It’s also truthfully my favorite type of riding!

We got inspired at Red Bull Outliers and are now designing a new endurocross track for our area (interior BC). I'm thinking we should have a stack of cones that live there and people can set out to practice drills on the natural obstacles near the track. Thanks for the Idea!

PS- I ran the JX8 and it was a weapon, awesome cornering and off camber performance, good cleanout in the popcorn, and STUCK to the slick faces 🤟

The cone drills, that I'm doing because of your videos, are helping me improve balance and throttle/clutch control. Not sure how competent I need to be before I try the cone gates. I might just give it a try next time out, I can always revert back to the standard. You know the worst thing about the cone drills, it's listening to the ones who laugh at me practicing. Go figure. Thanks for your upbeat messaging and training videos.

Excellent video! I've made a couple video's doing gate practice on my trials bike. It's tough, yet rewarding! I ride trials more than dirt bikes now. I have yet to learn how to hop though.

I ordered a brand new sherco ST 300 Fajardo 2022 two weeks ago and it's coming very soon. I did it to prepare winter season and work as much as possible what you are talking about. It's gonna save my Beta Enduro and let me work on a small place with not too much stuff.

Love it! Incorporating the inspirational message is something to focus on. You r a stoic my friend. The book…”Meditations” by Marcus Aurelius…Roman Emporer. His personal diary of humility…hard work! His motto…hard work! Lots of quotable “inspirational content”. For the end of your lessons! Very nice!

Thank you a lot for your videos! Really like your professional approach of teaching. Your videos have helped me and my friends a lot to improve our riding skills (even though we live on the other side of the world). May I ask one question about using front brake - do you keep your finger on front brake all the time (including riding obstacles, hillclimbs and jumps) or are there situations where to rather hold all fingers on throttle. Many thanks!

Hello; really enjoy your training videos; however, can you tell me how far do I have to go back in time to start working on some of these basic skills ? Maybe starting too late being in my sixties; so far cant even get on the bike with one foot on the peg and the bike not moving, or trying to balance the bike when stopped. Your balance is incredible…. Just looking for basic starting point. Thanks for your time.

I have a 300. Would training on a ttr230 size bike help or would you recommend just doing the drills with what you have? Back when I started, I had an XR100 then RM80 and went up to a 250 next. So I regret skipping the 125. I often feel the 300 is a bit much but I absolutely love it though. I was thinking to practice on a smaller bike. I just started to take classes with a local racer. Loving it. Thank you for any tips!

You forgot to mention the number 1 tip - ride the lightest bike possible.
It will take you 50 years to get any benefits trying this on an Africa Twin or a T7.
