This is just plain amazing to watch--I love the parts where he just suspends it in mid-air, making it look like it was just a soap-bubble, rather than a rather heavy glass ball...
Contact Juggling balls like this are generally made out of Acryllic. It looks the same as glass or crystal but it doesn't shatter if you drop it. This guy is very good. Well done JCJC!
its not computer generated, the guy is just unbelievably good at contact juggling. Also the ball he's using is made of acrylic and is clear, giving the illusion that its staying still even when its spinning and moving.
Have people seen the other videos about this stuff? It's real as hell. It's soooo cool-looking too. This dude is a beast. Otukaresama desita Okotanpe-san.
i've checked out other contact juggling vids and this guy blows 'em all away so far. the string trick is nice but his ability the keep the orb fixed as he moves around it...really well done. i'de pay to see that.
What's funny is that the illusions where he's more or less just holding the ball and moving his hands seem cooler than the more difficult maneuvers like the body rolls and such.
That was awesome. No way around it. That takes serious coordination, practice, and skill. Plus, nice taste in music. Perfect ambience for some orb-rolling. I've seen orb dancers at electronica events (for instance, Detroit's Movement/DEMF)- this is most definitely real.
Those who practice contact juggling as a circus skill know that the orb is supposed to look like an orb of light that the person is not controlling, as much as working with. His isolations were pretty much perfect, which probably added to the effect for you.
that was amazing!! i really didnt believe it at first...thinking the ball was added later by some computer graphics or something.. but even if he's cleverly holding onto the ball its still damn impressive
amazing! im the kinda guy that loves those small talents, that you are never going to use for anything serious in the future, like diabolo and stuff, and i have NEVER seen anything like that before! i love it!
I was just totally thinking of that! Yeah some guy stood behind him while filming under some cloth and did all the crazy juggling while it actually looks like David is doing it. Haha love that movie.
The ball is made of really thin glass. This makes the ball light, and the centrifugal gravitational force won't affect it as much as it would a heavy ball.
He's using a clear acrylic ball. I've been contact juggling for a couple of years and I'm nothing compared to this guy. His control is amazing. Especially those isolation moves... Wish I could dot that X|!
loved it. makes the "ball" look so peaceful and beautiful. Great skill, great job. Different as hell "at least i havent seen this stuff earlier". Awesome
Give it UP! This guy is incredible! Such Talent! He's got to be a HIT wherever he goes! Mesmerizing - absolute! Thank you, thank you for posting! (Can he come to out party?)
The ball is moving. When he makes it look like he slides his hands around it, he's actually holding on to it and rolling it in his hands. Also, it's transparent, so it looks like it isn't moving. It's all real, just a big optical illusion.
I'm guessing that he performs there frequently, and they've just grown used to him. We have a guy in my city that always sits by a statue at the library, playing guitar, he's really good, but e's been doing it for so long that it's commonplace to see him. Tourist love it though.
yup japanese are crazy cool...some of them. iv seen that many times in harajuku, once this guy was wearing like a space suit and had some experimental glasses on, still he was pretty good no matter the crazy outfit
We've all seen this before somewhere. So don't be crazy about it. I was excited after seeing this video, seeing what all you could do with one transparent ball. I decided that it was right up my alley. So I bought a few balls and have been practicing sometimes. No need to pick a moment or analyze anything. Just watch the video and keep you're negative comments to yourself. I seriously doubt the preformer posted the video, so why waste your time.
thats really cool contact juggling is def cool when i first saw it i was like ehh but when you did it you made me see this talent in a whole new light!
Can you even comprehend the difficulty of performing what this man has done? Can you even understand, the sheer amount of hours put into practicing but one of these tricks? Can you fathom the precision required to control a ball to such a degree? Obviously not. "Is it even hard?" How about you purchase an acrylic and try a simple isolation, or even the Butterfly. Then ask "Is it even hard?".
it's probably taken him about 3-5 years to learn what he's learnt so far, but there still is a fair bit of complicated moves which he never did on this video, so I assume he still has a lot to learn.
A possible explanation for the ball standing still: They could have edited each individual frame of the video so that the ball is in the same position in each frame.
I don't know how, but somehow he's gotten even better since I've first watched this vid, This guy is awesome.
amazing! i loved the little pull thingy he did.

I remember when I first watched this years ago, I honestly thought the ball was somehow photosopped into the scene. So perfect and surreal.
its not computer generated, the guy is just unbelievably good at contact juggling. Also the ball he's using is made of acrylic and is clear, giving the illusion that its staying still even when its spinning and moving.
WOW! Most amazing thing I've seen in a long while. You are awesome : )
I consider myself to be a very dexterous person, but looking at this, I'm not sure if I could EVER do all of those things he is doing. It's amazing!
hand/eye coordination at its absolute finest.
Thanks for all your awesome CCJ videos! San Diego, CA. Veeman
this is just fantastic, just watching this makes me want to get back into it, havnt practiced or done any cjing for about 2 months now!!!
A guy did this at the renaissance fair last year, I was impressed then, but that was nothing compared to this. Amazing. :)
Have people seen the other videos about this stuff? It's real as hell. It's soooo cool-looking too. This dude is a beast.
Otukaresama desita Okotanpe-san.
This is actually breathtaking.

Just goes to show that there is art and wonder in all of us if we are willing to work for it.
Magical , absolutely beautiful
That is the cleanest isolations i have EVER seen. Amazing work!
The motion is so fluid, it is as if he is dancing with the glass ball. Beautiful and mystifying...
it's been a while since I've seen a video worth being featured. very nice.
What's funny is that the illusions where he's more or less just holding the ball and moving his hands seem cooler than the more difficult maneuvers like the body rolls and such.
Its great to see a contact video featured. Those isolations are amazing!
This is actually not cgi. I've seen it done in real life when i went on holiday to south africa. It takes a hell of a lot of skill to pull off.
My eyes were stinging from not wanting to blink this is incredible.

アイソレーションが異常に上手い❗さすがおこたんぺさん(^-^)💡
amazing!
im the kinda guy that loves those small talents, that you are never going to use for anything serious in the future, like diabolo and stuff, and i have NEVER seen anything like that before! i love it!
It's awesome how he somehow let's the ball go up as if it was going to float away. Very creative.
man..i've been doing this a long time and saw this video a long time ago and it still gets me every single time..how the hell is he so smooth??!!!!
I was just totally thinking of that! Yeah some guy stood behind him while filming under some cloth and did all the crazy juggling while it actually looks like David is doing it. Haha love that movie.
This is strangely amazing. Seriously! That was cool!
that's some sick skill. i love it. 5 stars. i even forgave it for the screeching feedback sound at the beginning
The ball is made of really thin glass. This makes the ball light, and the centrifugal gravitational force won't affect it as much as it would a heavy ball.
Absolutely stunning,
it's like defying gravity.
You blew my mind!
He's using a clear acrylic ball. I've been contact juggling for a couple of years and I'm nothing compared to this guy. His control is amazing. Especially those isolation moves... Wish I could dot that X|!
pretty sweet =p i liked it a lot and it was actually pretty relaxing with the music.
beautiful movement and fluidity. Impressive. His bodily movements alone are very mesmerizing.
wow, that is some very fluid movement, this guy is a true artist.
This is the resualts of pracitcing long hours. Great job man. Fun to watch.
Master of the contac congratulation from Chile
loved it. makes the "ball" look so peaceful and beautiful. Great skill, great job. Different as hell "at least i havent seen this stuff earlier". Awesome
I love people who are able to do that.
this is so soothing to watch
Give it UP!
This guy is incredible!
Such Talent!
He's got to be a HIT wherever he goes!

(Can he come to out party?)
Art within Art itself...awesome job...
dam! thats sick! i thot it was a bubble of air for the longest time, thats insane how he makes that glass ball appear to just float in the air.
3 grams of mushrooms later and 6 hours later.
"Oh sorry, I play with my ball sometimes."
To friggin' cool.
skill, dexterity, dedication, and time.
this is insane
The ball is moving. When he makes it look like he slides his hands around it, he's actually holding on to it and rolling it in his hands.
Also, it's transparent, so it looks like it isn't moving.
It's all real, just a big optical illusion.
Rei Harakami is awesome!
So is this guy!
It's made from acrylic. For those who don't know its a from of juggling called Contact Juggling
外国人でこの人以上の技を見たことがない
この人がおそらNo1でしょう。
I saw a street performance in Barcelona where they did this. It's quite impressive.
this is really sick dude
i am always impressed by contact juggling of this magnitude of awesome
That is the best thing I have ever seen! 5 stars!
kuso! he is good. nice choice of music too. i like rei harakami's music
I'm guessing that he performs there frequently, and they've just grown used to him.
We have a guy in my city that always sits by a statue at the library, playing guitar, he's really good, but e's been doing it for so long that it's commonplace to see him. Tourist love it though.
no its real, hes just smooth at the motions so it makes it look too good to be true
I've seen lot of contact juggling, and this fellow is superb. Good for him!
I am so hypnotized right now.
He got good skills. And lol once again at the people saying this is fake, means this guy is doing a great job

This is one of the best contact juggling acts I've seen. Very impressive!

its called performance art. You know, like singing and dancing.
This guy is just REALLY good at Contact Juggling, I believe that's what it's called.
No, It's called contact juggling, everything he does is just with the ball and his body, any ball can be used, but it is easier with heavy balls.
Nice moves!! Looks insane, elbow rest to elbow rest...genius!
thats really cool contact juggling is def cool when i first saw it i was like ehh but when you did it you made me see this talent in a whole new light!
Ha ha ha ha David Bowie has nothing on you... that was funny. Its sooooo true. Yeah that was freakin tight! loved it. You rock dude.
you are PHENOMENAL
Can you even comprehend the difficulty of performing what this man has done?
Can you even understand, the sheer amount of hours put into practicing but one of these tricks?
Can you fathom the precision required to control a ball to such a degree?
Obviously not. "Is it even hard?" How about you purchase an acrylic and try a simple isolation, or even the Butterfly. Then ask "Is it even hard?".
And yet you sat here and took the time to watch it...
wtf...?
it's unique, I think. And how awesome! have never seen before anything like that.
That truly looks amazing!
AWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMME !!!
You are a visual magician man !
it looks awesome. i was enjoing this so much, thx!
Absolutely Amazing. 5 stars!
本当に上手だな。
that looks hella freaking cool ; unbelievable .
It's not fake, it's called contact juggling, an artform made famous by a man named Michael Moschen. The ball is most likely acryllic.
Simply amazing, such skillz. I hope to compare to this one day. Thanks for the inspiration.
Unreal... Simply amazing
Holy crap! I thought that was on a string on something! That's amazing!
brilliant! very very smoothly done.
sweet!!
I saw this same guy in Odaiba!! He rocks!!
this is so cool one of the coolest thing i've ever seen
it's probably taken him about 3-5 years to learn what he's learnt so far, but there still is a fair bit of complicated moves which he never did on this video, so I assume he still has a lot to learn.
best i've ever seen
his hand goes behind the ball (while still holding it) making it look like it popped away
its amazing how he can create the floating illusion though
very good.....nice....me gusto mucho.....vi el video completo y eso para mi, es bastante....
