@@LumianCentralno , thank you man. I am currently on chap 900 . I don't see alot of UA-camrs covering the contents of lotm let alone talk in such detail and with this much enthusiasm. @@faaiz4129 Hahahah again thank you man !! What ifs are very interesting and i’ll definitely cover them in the future 🙏 Please watch out for major spoilers though 😭😭
Ey, he actually did it. Nice xD I pretty much completely agree with the list, except that I'd personally put Clown up one more spot. I thought it was an incredible introduction, I am a SUCKER for exposition, especially when its used to scratch away the surface of the power system and the world building, I loved the relationship building and of course, as bad as it was, the ending was just phenomenal. That being said, I could also be a bit biased at the moment, considering that it has been a while since I read the other volumes and can't quite remember them and am currently doing a re-read, so Volume 1 is pretty much still fresh in my mind. Also, I 100% agree with the ranking of Faceless. It just didn't feel... quite there. It feel like it had some pacing issues, the quality in writing, especially of fights, was a bit of a downgrade and the lack of any proper side character was a mistake. All in all, I just think it fell a bit flat.
Hahhahaha thank you !! All of your points are valid, many people do not liek clown too much but similarly to what you mentioned I really really loved it so I have it relatively high compared to most peoples lists Im glad we can agree on faceless aswell, I think it was just put into a weird spot where CF wasnt sure what direction exactly he was going to take the story in so maybe thats why the quality was a bit off regardless are all peak ahah 🙏
Great video and btw we definitely need a new Red Priest and Demoness update video…. In the latest chapters we have more info on seq 2 Catastrophe, seq 1 Apocalypse, seq 1 Conquer and seq 0 Chaos Demoness and: Spoilers ahead: With lumians fight vs Cheek and him advancing to a dual pathway true god and getting his own Divine Kingdom.
Thank you !! Yeah for sure ill make some updated content regarding those pathways I will probably end up talking about the last volume of coi as a whole when it ends anways
My Ranking Is 1. Lightseeker (Literally the best volume no actual debate) 2. Hanged Man (I have a lot of reasons but the main ones are, Mr. Door ofc, Merlin Hermes, Utopia, and ASG Reveal, also the 2nd Blasphemy Slate) 3. Clown (I had a hard time putting this at 3, to be honest 3 4 and 5 could be switched around and i will still agree, but i liked this volume more because it had a stable pace even though it had a ton of info dump everything was worth it for the ending of the volume) 4. The Fool (It's a great ending volume with great fights like the apotheosis ritual and The Fool's Gambit and it also showcases the ability of a high level seer , I love everything about this volume but it is too short for me to put any higher) 5. Traveler (It's a great volume but i didn't get into it as much as the other 4, yes i love gehrman and his interaction with other people but it's also not as impactful as the other 4, it's more focused on klein powering up so he can beat ince zangwil, if i could this is tied for me in 4th) 6. Red Priest (It's also a good volume but it definitely can't compare to the others but the ending with amon was definitely a highlight i liked, but it also felt super off because the whole apotheosis ritual failed too easily just because of a few seq 3 and seq 2 even though they had multiple angels) 7. Undying (Basically the same reason, it's placement is too awkward, he's too strong to fight against people of the same sequence but at the same time he's also a bit too weak against higher ones because of the qualitative change at seq 4, also i liked dwayne dantes tbh) 8. Faceless (The same reason as you more or less, but it still had a few goo moments imo)
I love your list and we have a very similar placements and reasonings ahhahahahaha genuinely can’t think of anything i would really switch around and yeah i agree with you the middle ranking for me were also all interchangeable 🙏

Binsy Harbour (10/10 horro, only equal to L049 from SS) 2. Amon kidnapping Klien 3. Final Battle of Gods (Especially Dual Pathway God Amon vs The Fool Klien... 10/10 masterpiece fight)
@@LumianCentral My reading of volume 2, is that it was the actual start to our journey with all of vol 1 being prelude and setup for the tale at large. The themes on display in volume 2 with an emphasis on the faceless masses & smallfolk at large seemed executed much better than volume 3's themes Volume 3's theme of the traveler, and each journey having it's destination was explored at a pretty surface level for what i'd expect out of lotm. With the most poignant examples/ most effective cases being at the end with the company from groselles travels. I feel however that we were not given enough time with them & the idea of "every journey has it's destination" was not utilised nearly as well as vol 2 utilised it's own themes I'm also not particularly as interested in the fights persay as I am the world/ power system & characters at large. Volume 3 gehrman felt like less of an actual person and more of a caricature of who future gehrman is. This makes sense as klein initially was just trying to pump out his potion digestion but it did hamper the characterisation in return for funnier interactions. These interactions not being genuine sours it for me & makes it so I only enjoyed them on a surface level This is a copy & paste because i'm a lazy bastard and have been questioned for this seemingly unpopular take prior, not wishing to write up a tonne. That being said i'm not trying to argue people out of their own beliefs, everyone enjoys things differently and thats okay

@ well i just completely finished lotm one a few hours ago so I can finally rank them. Clown 8 though it’s a great start the characters are amazing but a huge chunk of it is setting up the power system which can be dull at time and after all the books you only remember a few major things but it does set up good storyline. Then undying i agree it only had a few memorable moments but it wrap’s up volumes one’s story lines very well and does a good job setting up everything. Then Faceless does have lot of world building but everything starts ramping up the we getting introduced to new characters, new pathways, we get introduced to the world and fors in the club and i think emlym too in the tarot club., but black empire and the smog are the major highlights and Sherlock too. Then Red priest though it doesn’t beat it by to much it’s a good book, answers a lot of questions we have, huge fights, medici, good personality, and amazing ending and set up for the next book. Then i agree with the rest of your ranks but number 2 and 1 are pretty close for me.
