Maff T UK had the flu over Xmas 🤒 however ivebought some new rods 😁 so all is now good. Should be seeing you on the bank soon. We are looking at vlogging our adventures on some southern waters this year. They hold fish to 50 🤞🏼 Happy new year mate.
used to be a family tradition of ours to go piking on boxing day at farlows when they had the old bar on heron point(must be 25 years ago now)...just cast the dead bait out on the float..watch it from the pub and get sloshed...happy days..last time i popped down there it all looked a bit posh...my mate mark held the carp record @42lb but it only lasted a day as someone else caught the same fish 5oz heavier...anyway great vids...new sub here....cheers...stephen

Great video. I see a big plus to making these videos, because your wife can see you are really fishing. Had a friend and her husband would go on fishing trips with his friends. One trip was always right over her birthday. Turns out his friends never saw him and he doesn't know how to fish. He was seeing his girlfriend. Oops. Personally I'd rather be fishing. I also enjoyed seeing your friends fish as well. Good group. 😊

The crew are looking at going to Farlows this year at some point, just wanted your opinion on is it worth going and if you know the best places to go when there.. We were on whats called the smelly bank with the M25 to our backs. This bank is sought after by the winter fishermen. If you want to fish here (smelly bank) you have to be early in the day as this is a busy complex and its not easy to get you all in a line for a social. Note they do check rigs here. A good shop, toilets and showers on site this place cover all types of carping from open water to fishing to features, you see a lot of winter pikers here too you cant book pegs here but it is worth a visit. hope that helps, regards Mat....... Adam you cant book on, you just turn up at the main gate, (not the first one you come to) dip your nets first then pay and then go find a swim, that's what your supposed to do, you can bucket a swim for 20 minutes

Cut offs on Farlows is a very common thing’ I’ve had 2x now on there 😳
We thought at first could have been pike but when Chris pulled in the Zebra Muscles well there you go.
