previous owner probably didn't have the skills that Devin has. I would've sold that evo too cause it'll cost too much to repair unless you can DIY most of the work.
The engine excluded, the rest car was pure love 😍. I loved how it looks, loved how it was taken apart and carefully made like new again. This is how an EVO should be. Excellent job, the result was astonishing
This is honestly my dream car, it makes me very happy to see someone restoring it to it's former glory.. In my opinion the most beautiful car out there. What would I not do to have one... but they are incredibly rare in Quebec and even more pricey :-(
They are also more right hand drive compared to left. And in Canada we use a ton of salt so a clean non rusty one is hard to find. I live in Toronto so I feel your pain
You can tell some super hard work went into this car, and it truly paid off. I almost wanna cry it looks so fucking good. Amazing job to everyone that was involved with this one.
@Cristi Macovei Nah, Evo IX, can tell by some of the interior, the valve cover design on the IX's is diff than the VIII, and the final way to tell is the front bumper is designed differently than the VIII's. I used to own an VIII. Although some VIII owners swap to the IX front bumper, but generally speaking IX's easiest way to tell is that front bumper design. The VIII has a connecting piece where the logo sits, while the the IX is just a black grill piece, no bumper connection from the middle area. Also the IX bumper has two holes on either side of the FMIC.
Devin, very beautiful transformation man, i can't understand why the last owners leaved the car on that conditions brother... Thanks God you arrive to Rebirth the Evo! 🙏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🖤very good work man. Greetings to you all!
I keep watching videos like this and I am buying a heater for my garage and starting my TSX build next week once my baby boy is home from the hospital! This summer he will be my wrenching buddy.
You're the only other person I've seen actually use a torque wrench doing a build.. lol.. thought I was just being anal when putting stuff back together.. came out awesome....

BlueAstral doesn’t look like he worried about it at all when he had it ..
Lol, for sure
You also believe that ? Dude the owner might have sold it or perhaps upgrade to the latest evo.
Appreciate ppl like Devin in this world . Took his time & reanimated this beautiful Evo
Shame its gone so fast 😢 Loved the build too, and how smoothly everything went
