Congrats on that monster pike! We caught alot of rock bass on our trip at deep creek this year too. I think your theory about the decreased water levels being a factor in the increased rock bass activity is right 👍
Nice pike! My family had a camp there for years and I basically grew up on the lake. Caught biggest fish there. What area did you catch the pike? Looked like area near Glendale bridge- that area has ton rock bass
If you have a boat I would suggest fishing marsh hill cove and around that point to mchenry cove. I basically grew up on deep creek. My family have owned a trailer there since 1965.
This was a different year , weeds were not the same , plus that fish was end of June into July. I was down a few weeks ago and couldn’t find anything on docks , it was all 15-17ft of water

Off the docks in front of the willo wisp , we stay there and traditionally it’s one of the best weeds beds on the lake at least in my opinion
