Well... If the doomslayer found a non-aggro demon that 1 Looks insanely human, 2 Is friendly off the bat, 3 Is actually partners with a human (The slayer had a wife at one point so he could understand this) He may just leave them alone! So fucking cute.
I hope the author continues the story because there are so many paths you could take with this! For example, maybe Raksha becomes less violent and more soft over time and the listener becomes more violent and less soft. It could be an interesting challenge for them both to work through and find a solution imo.
Love the whole premise of mismatched lovers thrown together by circumstance; a battle-scarred demon and some down-and-out random schmuck who just got their soul stained. I like the subtext suggesting that the demon is used to having to put up a front for her summoners, but then her defenses fall when she realizes the summoner is interested in her for more than just her ability to crush skulls; very well done! Great art as well. Also, made the fortunate mistake of having my sombre jazz playlist on while I was listening to this - man alive - that was something else!
Okay, that is a very happy coincidence... if any future scripts call for background music, I should maybe look for something in that genre. It sounds perfect. Thank you for sharing your complex thoughts; I love hearing them!
