The problem you had with the coconut cookies was due to the allulose, it softens baked goods and melts at a lower temp than most sugars, retry the recipe. Go back to the original amount of Allulose and add 5 drops of stevia. Lower temp by 25% and increase cook time 10 mins
I tried the lemon bars, with one modification - Ina Garten says if you use the juice, use the zest. So, I zested the lemons before squeezing to get a more lemony flavor. I baked it at 350F for 40 minutes. I did let it cool completely when done and while it was good, it tasted more like flan (egg-forward flavor} and very mild. So I put it in the refrigerator and kind of forgot about it for 2 days. When I pulled it out after it was chilled (and a little desiccated from drying a bit), OMG! The lemon flavor was so strong, and it went from soft jiggly flan to a smooth, creamy cheesecake texture - and there was no egg flavor! I do like eggs, and I do really love flan, but I wanted something different from this dessert. A lesson in patience and avoiding instant gratification.
One great 2 ingredient recipe that comes to mind is Indigo Nili's egg white crepes. It's just egg whites and gelatin, and it makes a great 'crepe' which can be used as a wrap, or sliced thin and used as egg noodles. It's really very versatile.
You don't need to have the dried egg whites. If you look for her egg white crepes video, it just uses 3 egg whites and a tablespoon of plain gelatin powder. I also add a good pinch of salt. You can use fresh or carton egg whites
Emily, your facial reaction to that monsterella / blueberry concotion was priceless. It reminded me of when an infant is spoonfed something that is distasteful.
Here is a wonderful tortilla recipe that I use instead of bread: 1/2 cup coconut flour 2Tbs psyllium husk 1tsp roasted garlic and herb seasoning (weber) 1cup + 1Tbs boiling water Mix separate into 5 or six balls. Then roll out each ball between parchment paper and then cook like you would cook a tortilla.
for lemon bar topping , I l❤ve to add about 1/2 tsp of True Lemon crystallized lemon with the Swerve confectioners sugar. It gives it a little more tart taste (if you like that lemon tartiness)
I loved your sweet looking dogs. So cute. In all fairness to the third recipe it might have not been as appetizing since you all had had 2 desserts already. It looked good. Maybe just alter since you've done the 3 ingredient recipes. Now you can go outside of those parameters, add some almond flour a bit of sweetner and xanthan gum or Tara gum to less cheese, maybe make a cream cheese filling, and blueberries . I am not an egg fan so think I will try that. Thank you for being brave and trying all and to all of the recipe creators.
Love your content! Here is my 3 ingredient lunch today. 1/2 brick Philly cream cheese 1 packet Chicken-of-the-Sea wild-caught smoked salmon, skinless and boneless (3 oz) 1/2 sliced English cucumber Mix cream cheese and salmon. Dollop on cucumber. I have to fight off my daughter and co-workers for this lunch!
Your last recipe with the mozzarella I use that exact mozzarella in a 4 inch skillet melted as pizza crust. Try it you will be amazed! Once it browns like that you put some sauce on it onions olives pepperoni a little bit more cheese and you will be shocked at how delicious it is and even cuts like a thin crust pizza
I do that too! It’s great! You just have to watch the mozzarella crust closely, because I’ve burned it before. Kinda ruins it. I also make Keto pizza on keto tortillas. Makes a perfect pizza for one!
So ladies, the last one, the melted cheese one, If you cracke an egg, salt and pepper, put the lid and cook it , It will be amazing with some salsa on it. By the way, I love the second recipe as well , because I loovvveee white chocolate. There is another version of by using just regular chocolate and egg.
I have been doing keto for some time. Lost 50lbs, but last year during the holidays had many family matters occur and gained 20 lbs back. Started watching your U-tube since March and have learned a lot! Thank you. I am attempting to get back on track!
I love you honesty. He have a family member with issues over textures and smells. Your videos have helped us find some alternatives. Thank you Ladies. Keep up the great work.
tapioca pudding 1 large box vanilla sugar free pudding 2 vanilla premier protein shakes 1 bag miracle rice rinse and drained Beat 1st 2 ingredients with hand mixer for 2 min Spoon 2 or 3 Tbs of miracle rice into small ramekin pour pudding mixture over the top (you can make many different flavor combos too by changing up the pudding of protein flavors
The coconut cookies might be great with a smidge of almond extract and then an edge dipped in chocolate. Might be something to serve in the upcoming holidays. Lime is my favorite citrus flavor, so I might make lime brownies. The last didn't seem too outlandish to me, but I eat Brie baked with different fruits all the time. I especially enjoy it with figs. Thank you!
1 cup fresh peanutbutter 1 cup sugar...swerve allulose 1 egg Beat all together with mixer. Drop by spoonfuls TBL sizs on a cookie sheet flatten with a fork. Bake at 350° for 10-15 mins. Makes 10-12 cookies.
Thank you, Keto Twins, Sarah and Emily! I am going to try all of these recipes and I can't wait! I also just bought a package of LMNT and am looking forward to trying those drinks as well! Getting tired of drinking just water. And I have not added any kind of salt to any of my dishes so I am sure I am in need of electrolytes. Thank you again!
for the crepe i think you have to let the cheese cool to make it more firm and easy to work with. it was still bubbling and melty so i think that was the problem. also that would prevent the whipped cream from melting. def let it cool a bit, but not like in the fridge or totally cold...
I agree - i thought the coconut cookies looked yummy! Allulose makes for softer baked goods and browns more readily but it really looked to me like you found the sweet spot. Of course, i did not see the version you were trying for - maybe it was lighter colored, and less spread? But what you made looks like what I would enjoy so i plan to try it! Thanks!
I enjoy you two so much!!! And werent yall 92K subs just last week??!! That’s pretty good in one week! Em, your expressions on the last one was worth the price of admission!!! Too adorable!! The coconut “macaroons” looked SO good!! Yep, I WILL be trying it! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve had a macaroon!! And almond Joy?? Yes, please!!! I think you girls ought to do a video where you revisit some recipes you’ve done that may not have been quite as good as you wanted, but have since altered or added your own twist to it to make it actually taste good or bake correctly or what have you!!
Poor Oliver and Henry! They really wanted that crepe. I might have to try the coconut cookies with a different sweetner, I think that is what made the cookies so soft. Thank you ladies for trying them out for us!
I use a thinner layer of cheese for my fruit roll up. I use mild cheddar and two tablespoons of previously microwaved, thinly diced green (or red) apple. Yum.
Guess I haven’t been paying attention to your subscriber count. Congrats on the BIG increase. I’ve made the lemon brownies 3 times now. They are really good. I’ll have to try the coconut cookies now. Henry and Oliver are adorable 🥰
The first two desserts looks really delicious. I think you were too hard on the 3rd dessert. I bet it was delicious too. I think I would enjoy all three desserts.
You two crack me up!! I love the facial expressions! I am with Emily, I wouldn't try the last one either. Not the right kind of cheese to go with blueberries. Thanks Girls! I am going to try the first 2 though. I do love the recipes you find! Good work girls, from a fellow Chicagoian!! (south sider now in AZ)
I like Lily's chocolate chips but they don't like me so I have to substitute a gut friendly candy in the lemon brownies recipe. It's a treat just watching your videos!
I just love lemon anything! I cannot wait to try this and I never miss a ketoserts vid. She's awesome and really needs to open her bakery so I can just buy her stuff!

If you have exhausted all 2 and 3 ingredient recipes, branch out to 4 ingredient recipes. Just a passing thought, and whatever you try will be deliciously entertaining! ❤️👏💕😂
I can't wait to try to find keto friendly white chocolate chips in Israel to try the lemon brownies. I loved your expression when you tried to cut that last "blintz" for tasting. Love your videos, ladies. As for the coconut cookies, I've made them before using a non-keto recipe and just subbed in straight granulated erythritol and real egg whites and love them. They're easier to work with that way. I just used two spoons to shape them. They don't spread as much with erythritol as they would with the allulose, and they are a little drier, but still very delicious. The erythritol gave them a really nice cool-mouth feel, which I found worked nicely, rather than detracting. Another good thing is that they keep wonderfully in a sealed jar. Mine lasted about 3 weeks, eating 1 a day. How's that for self discipline? I think I'll try the Mounds(TM) bar idea you mentioned. I R A Chocoholic, and bless the inventor of keto friendly 85% dark chocolate chips! On a side note, it was great to see your dogs. A mixed breed Chinese Crested/Terrier pup adopted us when my folks moved to Israel 35 years ago. His name, officially, was Radar (as in O'reilly, from M*A*S*H), due to his ears turning in whatever direction anyone who called his name or any tasty-related sounds were coming from. He was lovingly called Ugly, as well. Cuz he wuz. But the most loveable dog ever. Just one minor quirk - He LOVED diving into and smearing himself in the neighbor's sheep and goat dung piles when he got out of the yard. We miss him dearly.
I would try the blueberry and cheese one, but I really don’t think I’d like it. One of my favorite keto desserts are the ones you made with keto tortillas. I put cream cheese, cinnamon and sweetener in them and fry them in butter. So yummy! 😃
The first two look yummy. I had to make the brownies. Unfortunately I didn't have lemon juice or white chocolate chips. I did have the Lily's dark chocolate chips. So I made dark chocolate peppermint brownies. The chocolate did seize up. That's ok, because I spread it out and baked it as it was. The brownies still taste good. Mine was on the dry side. I think I will add 2oz. of cream next time.

No! Please do not give the dogs a bite! Artificial sweeteners can kill dogs! Be careful! Depends on the sweetener, but I’d definitely research it well before giving a dog any.
Not sure if you guys have tried the 4 ingredient almond joy cookies. Theyre all over pinterest. All it is is shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips and almonds. I like sliced or slivered almonds. A little easier to eat. Can easily make them keto with lily's and your homemade sweetened condensed milk. They are amazing!
Thank you for sharing your experiences with all of your videos. I've tried many of these recipes based on your recommendations. This last recipe I don't believe I'll try, but thank you so much for the laughs! 😂🤣 I really do love both of you. ♥️♥️♥️
I think you could definitely make a low-carb version of an actual crêpe. I’m pretty sure all it has in it is eggs either milk or cream and flour but you could probably use a flour substitute maybe like coconut flour
So the three ingredient coconut cookie looks a lot like a macaroon. Add a little bit of almond extract and you're probably spot on with that recipe. As far as the mozzarella wrapped blueberries with the cream, it kind of looks like princess which means it may taste just as good with sour cream on it as it does with whipped cream on it. The sour cream might actually bring out the sweetness of the berries more...
Emily, you're a hoot in this vid! I was rolling! Actually, I'll try the blueberry one some day. I like chaffle recipes with cream cheese and blueberries so I think I'd like it. The other two look delish! Thanks for some yummy fun today! 🙂
For a yummy 3 ingredients desert try a chocolate mug cake. One egg,1 tablespoon cacao powder and 1/4 cup erythritol. Mix together and microwave for 1 minute. You can make it a 4 ingredient dessert by adding a teaspoon of peanut butter.
I use the cheese wrap a lot with quick savory lunches. I haven’t tried it with a sweet twist. But I don’t have an aversion to things with lots of tiny holes 😂 Thanks for taking one for team keto and trying it anyway. 😂
I am a fan of you two and your little dogs. Do you have a photo of the four of you that you share with your fans!? I would love to have one. Where can I go to view printed versions of your recipes. If you haven't done so already you could put together a cook book of your keto recipes and sell it for a bundle! Just a suggestion. Thanks Jan Chavez
That last recipe was a whole can of nope for me too. As has been stated about the allulose, it softens, and browns, but actually, I don't think I'd mind that with a coconut recipe like this. I imagine it gives a caramelised macaroon taste/feel.
So, I've watched a few of your videos, liked you guys and your content, so I already subbed, and then I saw the Cresteds! Omg now I'm in love! My baby is half Chinese Crested and half English bulldog (that's right, I know, very unusual lol) He's basically a 70lb, hairless bulldog with a mowhawk lol. ❤️❤️
Happy Friday girls! Thanks, as always, for trying out these recipes for us. The first 2 look good. I’ll pass on the 3rd. I like berries and whipped cream by themselves. I can skip the cheese. I love anything with lemon so I’m excited to try that one first. Emily, Oliver and Henry are adorable! So cute! Thanks again to you both! Have a great weekend!💞
One ingredients recipe: take a handful of unflavored/plain pork rinds... I like Utz....throw in airfryer for 5 min @ 400F....take out , salt with popcorn salt/ fine salt (or add other flavors)....checks off my massive craving for popcorn. MUCH prefer it crunchy and hot/warm over straight out of the bag. Yum.
Have you tried the microwave pork rinds? They are crazy amazingly good!! I mean, I like pork rinds, always have since way before Keto, but these are next-level rinds!! Using the flavored popcorn stuff on them-OMG!!! Gotta get to WM for some right now!!!
Thanks girls😘 I'm always down for trying out something with just a few ingredients!!! You 2 honestly crack me up during this video ,I get so excited 😊 when I see y'all have a new video!!! 😎😎😎😎 That last one tho 🤮
I subscribed a few months ago and really love your video style. Not perfect but REAL which I love. BTW, I went back and binge watched ALL of your videos, some twice! Will certainly be here when you reach 100k! 🥰
Somehow I keep stumbling upon your videos and … you two are super fun to watch making these recipes so we can see what to expect if we make these on our own. Omg the dogs 😂

I've been making the Lemon "Brownies" for ages! Keto and non-keto friend and family LOVE them. They freeze beautifully, too. 😋💖😋
For the coconut cookies I'd just add chocolate chips. It's not "dipped" but an easier way to add chocolate.
Oh!! Terrific idea!

Sarah liked it, I don’t know why though lol! Maybe you will too :)
Love the way you two do these videos.... Funny too 😂 🙏
🤗🤗
Love watching you both. You make watching fun and informative. Keep experimenting. ❤
🤗🤗❤️
My lemon bars are in the oven now. I cant wait to try these.
I use the cheese wrap a lot with quick savory lunches. I haven’t tried it with a sweet twist. But I don’t have an aversion to things with lots of tiny holes 😂 Thanks for taking one for team keto and trying it anyway. 😂
The dogs though...how cute and sweet are they!?!?!??! AWW
❤️❤️🐶🐶
Just came across your channel and loving all the taste tests and new recipes, keep it up!
Thanks Laure! 🤗
@@ketotwins My pleasure, you guys are very entertaining.
My granddaughter also has trypophobia. Good work ladies.
I love when the lemon punches me in the face. I always complain there isn’t enough lemon flavour lol
Me too! Everyone else is screwing their face up saying it’s too tart and I’m looking for more 😂
You guys are so naturally funny. The reaction to the last dish was the best laugh Ive in days.
I love Chinese crested dogs! I currently have 2 hairless cats. Canadian Sphynx . I adore them.
Double Chinese Crested delight - your dogs are so cute!
This cracked me up. You two are hilarious!
I've ordered a 4-waffle maker and am looking forward to making more of your waffle recipe.
That last recipe was a whole can of nope for me too. As has been stated about the allulose, it softens, and browns, but actually, I don't think I'd mind that with a coconut recipe like this. I imagine it gives a caramelised macaroon taste/feel.
Emily was clearly channeling Lucille Ball. Awesome video
Emily, you had me laughing so hard at the faces you were making while you were sawing away on that crepe. You are so hilarious!!😂🤣❤️❤️
🙈🥴😂
I thought that coconut cookie looked great..I like that hardened, gooey edge..(add chocolate chips?) 😮
I looked at him on your channel he is sooo cute! Would fit right with my weirdos 🤗🤗-em
Thanks Thea!! Have a great weekend!!
Yes!!! Anything LEMON is my thing too!
Thank you!
@Arbonne Lady Yes! Love it!!🤗🤗
One ingredients recipe: take a handful of unflavored/plain pork rinds...
No....would have thought they might get soft instead of crisp. Will definately try that....thanks!
Thanks girls😘 I'm always down for trying out something with just a few ingredients!!! You 2 honestly crack me up during this video ,I get so excited 😊 when I see y'all have a new video!!! 😎😎😎😎 That last one tho 🤮
Haha thanks Lori, we have a lot of fun making these videos even if I think it’s gross sometimes :)
