Kung Hei Fat Choi and Happy Chinese New Year of the Dragon! This video was taken on the first day of the Lunar New Year (10 February 2024) in Hong Kong. Following a long absence, due to Covid-19 and other societal issues, Hong Kong has started the annual Chinese New Year parade in this auspicious Year of the Dragon.
I was fortunate enough to get to the front barriers along Nathan Road (Hong Kong's Golden Mile) to witness the festivities. Hope you enjoy these recordings.
