This video has one of the greatest post-review conversations. I grew up as a laker fan, became a Kobe fan when he got to the league and always rooted against all his "rivals", specially AI, but man, Iverson has the biggest heart in the entire NBA. Back then, after the 2001 finals I read an article on Slam about all the pain and injuries he went through during the 2001 playoffs and those 7 game series against Toronto and Milwaukee, how he even had to spit the blood inside his jersey to avoid being pulled out of the game because of him bleeding, that totally changed my mind about him and ended up admiring him. AI is one of the greatest of all time, hands down.
I love the fact Chris shows love to all BBall kicks not just Jordans. And knows the history.. Best channel for Kicks, and it aint even close. Im from New Zealand and getting any of these Reebok Classics is harder than hitting on the SKKRS app....

My admiration for Iverson was basically obsession from 2000 until he hung em up. I basically became a Sixers fan in addition to being a Sonics fan(which sadly has been depression since they were taken away) simply for Iverson.
I remember wanting this shoe so badly! Mom couldn't afford them when they were releasing. But income tax refund came in clutch and Foot Locker had just restocked and momma took care of me. Cannot wait to get a pair next week!

AI was absolutely incredible, if he was Jordan size we could be talking about him in the GOAT debate for sure. Definitely the greatest player I've ever seen 6ft or under and he was an even better American Football player.

I've got the 2005 Reebok pump Iverson 9s with that auto pump and shear DMX technology, and they're without doubt the most comfortable shoes I own. I wear them quite often and there isn't a mark or crease on them. Sadly I doubt they'd ever get a retro, but I don't care as mine will probably go for another 16 years, easy! They also had the best nubuk I've ever seen on a shoe. An under appreciated shoe for sure, but not for me.

100 percent. People just can’t fathom what Bubba Chuck was. He was the face of the league for years - and the league had a big problem with that. But it was truly a testament to what a beast he was. OMG. I don’t think you can watch a single basketball game without Iverson’s name coming up for some reason or another by the broadcasters. You certainly can’t watch a game without seeing his likeness on the court.

Ever since Adidas took over Reebok I swear it’s like they’re trying to make the brand last while simultaneously failing as hard as humanly possible. If you order online from Canada literally every single thing is out of stock sometimes.

I was gonna say this but you already hit it. Adidas need to sale so master p can buy it and bring it back the correct way. I have the retros from 12 and had the og low tops. Even bought the answer 1 white red from 18 and they are super trash. I was gonna get these but I won’t even waste the money due to the lack of effort made. It’s a slap to the face for only the front 3m the red plastic piece on the back suppose to be clear and the thin insole suppose to be his arm covering the whole thing.

Also, I agree about people forgetting how great Iverson was overall. Known for his cultural impact, but his overall contribution to the game won’t be appreciated until he’s gone, unfortunately.

I had a orange and white Answer 4 when I was 6 or 7 when they came out. I loved them dearly, especially the fact his face is on the bottom.. Under appreciated shoe
Iverson was a effing G. He truely changed the culture of the league. He was the streets. Him and Stevie man.. god people just don’t get it.. this was a grail for me. I had the answer three and I thought the Dmx in these was next level bummed they don’t have the i pack. Great review. This was one of those shoes that you just knew even on the shitty definition of tv back then. I would say the 12 was similar when people rocked those you could just tell. I dunnno this is one of the greatest shows of all time in my opinion and it sucks that the younger generation has forgotten this guy. I try telling my 17 yr old cousin to just get some answers n be different cuz all everyone wants is Nike Kobe’s which is whatever but this shoe is an absolute show stopper. Good vid Chris

Cool video, I was more of an Answer 1 fan, but these were dope too. As for comparing Iverson and Kyrie, I believe that if Kyrie was able to go up against Iverson,when Iverson was in his prime that Kyrie would have been ended up being like a of people on a release day, collecting L's!

I've been to local Reebok store and try this, a nice retro. The quality is good and feeling comfortable. I wear us9 and it feels a little bit wider inside.

Iverson was the absolute best. He went up against the best and held his own. I’m waiting the the black and white answers this June.
My Milwaukee Bucks with Ray Allen, Big Dog, Sam Cassel were favored to beat A.I. and the 76ers to advance to the finals and face the Lakers, but it went 7 games and AI carried his team on his back through that series. My Bucks actually were 2-0 against the Lakers twice that season and it would've been a great match up.
These bring me back to my sophomore year in high school. Everybody was getting the Jordan retro's and I got these and was turning heads. I love the white and black colorway as well

I had these back in the day but the low cut version and would get mad props from the ladies and the fellas! But i still think the red was brighter on the low OGs, had the mid Georgetown coloway aswell and black white lows. They only released the OG mid red toes in TAIWAN after the MVP season in 2001 and had T.W. 2001 MVP stitched on the side. Have the 2012 retro aswell which doesnt have the flash red and really thought these would have the OG treatment in color and materials but will still pick up a pair! My fave A.I.'s of all-time!

Ai was a beast , with the 90s rules and big guys , him being as small as he was going into the lane and flushing it on alot of guys was insane. If he could have played in todays NBA rules he would be nearly unstoppable .

I remember coppin' two pair of these the first time the OG's dropped back in the day! Iverson is my personal all-time favorite player. Definitely made me step up my game on the court. And being 5'10" (and slim 😂) as well. I was like I'm gonna drive in lanes and shit too, haha. Gotta pick up a pair of these! Do eosh the reflective/3M was allover how it was originally! Iverson and Jason williams are underrated for the crazy handles etc..They had!
